Rebuilding A Destroyed C63S AMG!! It Had Hidden Damage All Over!! Was It Even Worth It?

With that big sun roof opening, if the car went off the road in a ditch and hit a mound of dirt those dents in both sides of the roof are probably from the body being bent. That is why there are no scratches in the paint from going through the woods. The body is probably bent. Good luck on the project. TP

Ooooh another nice motor, and another nice vid motorheads! that's the trouble with nice modern motors, all that nasty knurly plastic stuff, soon adds up to a lot, that's what makes a car so damn expensive, take all that rubbish off, i wonder how much weight and money would be shed, just have to find a new way to glue everything together, hang bumper etc nice hair cut too Marky

That car has been worked on before in the front. Its missing 2 brackets that are supposed to attach to the bumper . you can even see the witness mark by the cap thats under the tow hook mount.

I dunno, that front passenger door doesn’t look that bad either. There is probably more body filler from a rear quarter replacement from all the welding areas, than would be on that door. Unless you are getting a new skin for cheap, it always seems easier to just spread and sand in one day.

Morning from uk guys Love wen we get see the hows to wen things happen lol I was told rhyme wen wrapped e46 m sport 2.2 (flat out launch hit wet metal drain) but because a was layed rite in 1 tyre broke loose no time to correct from wheel speed but if was correct launch should went half pedal to ease down further car would of bin ok but like a say a was layed in padel nearly pushed into wheel liner was down that hard.😂 Live and learn👍 tho this stuck with me since >>too much hoon and you loose it soon, alway ease into to the power for the perfect launch or rubber shower

Amazing! Did you bought this car for you, man? I think you should keep the original paint color on the rims when you send them to repaint. The tires were made less than a year. They are pretty good and has lots of meat yet. Don’t waste money on that. And they are Michelin. Simply the best. Also would be better to don’t drive the car to VTunned garage. You can bring the car on the truck you guys have on the shop. Great job. I do enjoy a lot your channel.

I have a set of Vorsteiner VFF107's that I had on my 2018 c63s sedan in black (the Vorsteiner color is carbon). They were only on my car 3 months before I traded it for an e63s. They are the stock size (19"). Also have 12mm spacers and lugs for the front. Let me know how to get in touch...I'm not on social media. Thanks!

Sending an AMG ecu out to be tuned is hit or miss. I suggest a Dyno tune on the m157 motor, which is pretty much a custom tune. I wouldn't let a tuner tune my car unless the car is there to be dyno tuned. When you send your ecu to the tuner you're basically getting a box tune, which means you either get a decent tune or a bad one.

That depends on who is doing it also.. I wouldn't send it to someone who you don't know but those thst are tunning lambos and all kinds of exotics and German cars. I am sure they know what's up

@@Berti_00 You're correct, so let me correct myself, I wouldn't give my ecu to a company that does not have a solid reputation. Renntec, Weistec, Eurocharge, DME and OE tuning has great box tunes but you get the most out of the car with a Dyno tune (custom tune). Benz Works in Huntington Beach CA Dyno tune two of my AMG's and OE Tuning in Santa Ana CA did another. It makes a huge difference than just an ecu box tunes you get when you ship your ecu out to them.
