The real problem is that this is literally a frame-off process as every nut, bolt, gasket, and piece has to be inspected. And most of it replaced. Their insistence on using aluminum is a problem as opposed to other alloys as it all has to go. If it were a Mustang, a little corrosion isn't a big deal - stop it and seal it. But when it's been lightened to where there's no leeway in the design, that's exactly where it'll snap or fail. And the car as a LOT of aluminum in it. So lots of work and videos to come. Probably take them the better part of a year as the real issues are putting it all together and waiting on those smaller bits and parts. Also, if the clutch has a water line like that, the transmission is also trashed inside. This might end up being a 1 million dollar project in the end.

I mean, they're making themselves look weak. That CF on the bottom has no meaning other than 'make the customer pay for repairs', exorbitantly, so it's pure stupid tax, and the engine bay is chuck full of cheap parts sold expensively (more, stupid tax) some of them scumbaggingly hidden behind fascias to hide the fact that they're cheap parts. I'd never buy one of these. Horrible car to own. You'll never be able to enjoy it on public roads, every asshole will try to sit on it, people will key it, even on tracks you're not allowed to go full tilt, and the thing is uncomfortable as hell. Nah, i'd rather own a cheap nugget, built up proper, no money spared, which can then be enjoyed on public roads and on tracks, because its power is proportional to reality, not vapid imaginations of people who don't really work a day in their life. Tavarish is exempt on this, for obvious reasons, and other people's tastes and choices are their own, but i'd never spend money for something like this. It's a car that no normal person would enjoy owning. You're better off learning to build experimental aircraft and using those for speed demon needs.
