Yeah it didn't balance

I would put a nail in something and balance it on it. That will tell you how much material you need to remove to balance it. If you don't it will ruin your deck bearings and potentially the deck spindle. I have seen many people who even sharpened their blades and took just a minor amount too much off 1 side. (so little you can't even feel) and it will torch the decks and components over time.

@endurofurry true, but this is not the first time i've had a vibration on this pig and it's still fine

@@blastersmith2007 Eh I am just a firm believer that if you're going to do something you should do it right. And it may not have a problem instantly but it will down the road. Used to fix neighbors' lawnmowers and it was the 1# reason deck bearings went bad out of balance blades.

WHY? New lawnmower blade are cheap. $10 to $20.
@blastersmith200725 күн бұрын
@@LorisSawmill ten to twenty dollars is too much yup you heard it. And I have zero patience for amazon to f*** around and give me a lawnmower blade that doesn't even work cause it's the wrong one

I like that you don't have the shield on your grinder, I take all of mine off too. Just be smart and hang on tight. Never had a problem.
@blastersmith200725 күн бұрын
@kwhemphill4254 i know, right Although, I'll be honest with you, if I had the shield, I would put it on that angle grinder was given to me because it didn't work

Great job overall. That's right don't give the safety sallies or the perfectionist parts replacers any room to breath ! Love the carmat chute exhaust cover. Better than original.

Im frugal but unlike you Im smart, I purchased blades to suit another type of mower and drilled holes to suit them with my mower bolt on bolt off.

Incredibly STUPID. You have changed the metallurgy of the materials. Nice welding. 6010 has better penetration and you will soon have a nice Crater Crack. Remove it and scrap it after cutting in half.

both tips are the same hight at least it appeared so, well appearances how I made the entire lawn mower blade. So, you know, it's not perfect, but it's good enough for who it's for.
