Why use a defender clutch master cylinder? Would it not be easier to work out the thread in the disco 1 master cylinder and find a fitting to suit? Alternatively, i would imagine the disco 2 clutch master would fit the mounting points, they would normally share the brake reservoir via a short rubber hose. Why not use the disco 2 master and fit a remote reservoir onto the rubber hose? Just seems an easier option than the fabrication required to make the defender master cylinder work.

J/M. Still trying to get my head around the idea or purpose of such a conversion lads ? Being a mid-'90's 3dr D1 with usual issues, it would appear better to convert this rig with the 400Tdi HS2.8 instead of this Td5 engine ! V.
@juicemotors Жыл бұрын
The idea/ purpose is to create a good useable Land Rover that’s tuneable, reliable and simple - enter the TD5 engine. A 2.8 TGV isn’t as refined and parts are hard to source, plus we had one in the shop!
