Must be one of the most 'real' rebuild channels out there, honest entertaining and can see what you're doing with your own money, great job on a more unusual car, don't think I've seen many about, and I heard anything above -5 is a heatwave in Scotland anything in the + and its factor 50 t-shirt and socks and sandals. Great job buddy

@@DaveRebuilds if you think that shipping is dear, I've been charged 45 quid for an envelope sized packet to be sent here, Northern Ireland, from newcastle as they said not part of UK, I thought it was gonna be personally hand delivered but came via royal mail with a stamp on it.

Hello Dave,progress on the Subaru BRZ is coming along nicely, putting it together looked technical with the new parts.

Glad too have you back again Dave, you are doing a very good job as usual here. I really do enjoy watching your videos then, so just had my car M. O. Td on Tuesday only had to replace 1 track rod end but done the pair off them and that's it for a Year now. So keep up the good work then and hope all the family are doing alright then.

Lol. Yeah quite an uncommon car but kinda cool in its own right. Just a nightmare to find parts for 😂
@tonymcnamara9368
@tonymcnamara9368 2 жыл бұрын
Some repair sites videos give the impression jobs are easy, and parts are readily available. You don't do that, you give an almost true time of stripping down, repair, and sourcing parts. Nothing is ever as simple as it seems, and can cost time and money to the inexperienced.
@DaveRebuilds
@DaveRebuilds 2 жыл бұрын
To be fair, I sometimes make things look easier than it actually was 😂, for example, when we pulled the damage from the bottom support, it was a 3min clip in the video but that was 8hrs of work edited down lol. For sure these builds cost money, need to be very careful when buying that you don’t spend too much for the car or u never get the money back (my GTR is a prime example of that lol)

Hi dude the brz is coming along nicely, that washer bottle looked like a right pain in the back side, it's a wonder you didn't get that part from the US delivered to where you work in the US sometimes and you could have brought it home yourself. It's great to hear that the transporter is getting there hopefully she'll be home soon and you can get the rest of it finished, hope all is well with you and all the family 👍👍
@DaveRebuilds

Thanks dude! Yeah it was a total pain in the ass to fit 😂. I was tempted to do that with the bracket but I’m not back out in the US until June otherwise I would have lol. Yeah should have at least an update for everyone on the VW in the next video (unless it’s home by then🤞🏻) All good over here dude, hope all is well with u and urs too👍🏻

Hi Dave, this is looking nice, are you turning the key and looking for any lights on the dash before fitting any Aftermarket. Also doing a fault codes, after any significant reinstall of electrics, it just cuts down on where you have to look if any error codes come up. . . keep it up. .
