A simple way for more angle on 350z is to get aftermarket tie rods and steering rack spacers.

I would definitely sell those AP racing calipers. They're too nice to sit on a drift car. Swapping the stockers from the donor car is cake, and those would fetch a good amount from someone looking to upgrade.

For a proper drift alignment they should have gone to a true coilover setup. Yes it is possible to only do a camber arm setup paired with an spc toe bolt kit or something along the lines where you trim the subframe to get more toe adjustment, but i dont believe you will achieve -.5 to zero camber with that. For a more functional alignment you need both camber and toe arms for proper adjust, not a modified eccentric toe bolt. Another benefit of going toe arm over toe bolt is you can get a camber/toe bolt lockout kit from spc because z33s are notorious for the eccentric bolt slipping and going out of alignment. Also, front upper control arms are a must to get the -3 to -5 camber you should be running, if you slam the front you may be able to achieve roughly -3.5 which might be suitable. I have some z1 fucas and they can adjust caster and camber, great product all around. Dialing in the proper alignment will make a world of a difference on the track and shouldnt be taken for granted in favor of keeping the comfort of the car. These cars dont respond crazy to power mods so you’re suspension should be doing most of the work for this chassis. Just my two cents but you guys do you.. speaking from experience too, not just another uninformed internet warrior

Your absolutely right man , something I’m dealing with right now with my 370, I have an oem style bc coilover and even with the toebolts and camber arms there’s no way I can achieve -.5 camber. It’s either I buy all new coil overs or get the SPC adjustable spring bucket but it’s about the same price anyway for all new coil overs, wish I could just find the rears

I just came off of Bridgestone RE11a to Zestino 07R and my first impressions are that the 07R have a much softer sidewall, and less feedback... they are also a bit narrower and shorter than the Potenzas I had. Im using them on a 1990 CRX Si 195 50 15. They are very sticky though.

Wow the Z is looking really nice, especially sitting next to the s14. Please do the nismo wing. Keep up the good work, I own a G35 and using the info you guys provide in this series to buy parts. Why did you decide to go with the bucket and spring style "coilovers" as opposed to the "true coilovers" in the rear?

you shouldve got true coilovers for the rear so you can replace those spring buckets with adjustable arms. also on the Z's there is a bolt on angle stopper in the front, it's like 2 bolt and you get more angle without buying anything.

Have a hell of a time running 255 on the rear. Want a 225/235 thin side wall to limit the roll of the tire. Idk but smaller wheels= more wheel speed with underpowered cars.

Do you not need to go with a true coilover in the rear in order to get camper adjustment ? My z has terrible rear camber , I burn off the tires super uneven . from what Iv found so far researching a guy needs to delete the spring bucket to fit the adjustable camber arm .... let me know if you have figured out a way around this so I may not have to go true coil over . Thanks , car looks great 👍🏻
