You know if you bury that IBC tote that you're storing your RV water in, it will help keep the water cooler and "fresher" longer as well as let you fill it via gravity and a 1-1/2" pipe instead of having to use a garden hose and that janky ass drill?

The trailer is to take the tote into town to fill, the drill pump is to empty the tote into the RV. I paint my totes with aluminum paint to keep out the light, thus the algae.

Oh, another idea that worked out for us, all volkswagons used to be shipped to the states with a solar battery maintainer plugged into the cigarette lighter. It's like a 14 by 12" affair with suction cups on the solar side to attach inside of the windshield to keep the batteries up to charged for the journey to the u.s. they really work and are the perfect thing for the task. Like a trickle charger powered by the sun. I'm sure someone has replicated the idea by now for vehicles that are only driven occasionally, or in long term "repair". Or check with the local vw dealer they might have a shelf still full of them hanging around.

Don't think we have any wolves. We do have rattlesnakes and scorpions and many lizards. The snakes aren't a danger they want to be left alone.
