Moneyball is always done wrong ! Its nothing to do with buying in lower leagues and selling high! Its just plain a simply down to statistics, so instead of buying a striker who has 20 for finishing and composure you buy the striker who has the best xg, goals to game ratio etc.

The explanation of buying low selling high does bug me 😆 because it's all about value, Billy Beane only sold his superstars because statically they weren't the best options and the coach refused to budge. Love this. But what is it with Saudi Arabian clubs signing youngsters so often? This has only been the case once with Veiga. How is it realistic that a 20-year old semi talent is going to be signed for a Saudi club? This does not make sense to me at all, I thought football manager was supposed to be realistic compared to EAFC which it is to some degree, but it seems like the Saudi clubs are greatly exaggerated.

This might seem like a really basic question/comment, but how are you getting through seasons so quickly? What are your settings? I'm fairly new to FM and find getting through one season as a manager can take weeks of real time unless i'm plugging 8+ hours a day. Where am I going wrong!? 😂

Knowing you want to do a Moneyball rebuild in every European nation with the goal of winning the Champions League I actually have some team suggestions for you: Austria: RB Salzburg, Austria Wien. Will you choose the team that basically uses the Moneyball system or a team in dire financial straits? Switzerland: Young Boys. You already did a Basel rebuild so yeah. Serbia: Partizan, Red Star. The two biggest clubs in Serbia. Hungary: Ferencvaros, Puskas Akademia. The top team or a youth centric one? Sweden: AIK. Historically a big team in Sweden but haven't been able to win the Allsvenskan since 2018. Croatia: Dinamo Zagreb, Hajduk Split, Rijeka. Will you again, choose the biggest team or go for one the teams trying to take them down? Bulgaria: Levski Sofia. They have some really really good talents. Israel: The empire that is Maccabi Tel Aviv. We are the biggest team historically in Israel but due to many problems we haven't been able to win the league title for the past three seasons with our 2nd biggest rivals Maccabi Haifa returning to the top and winning the league for those last 3 seasons. This summer we replaced former Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka with the legend that is Robbie Keane in his first managerial job and got off to a brilliant start and into the Conference League Round of 16 automatically with an impressive 3-1 win over Gent. In the past 2 months or so we began to faulter with Robbie not rotating the squad and the tired starters drawing and even losing games domestically, leading to us losing our lead at the top of the table again to Maccabi Haifa.

@@KempiXI they formed Milan Skriniar, Róbert Bozeník, Denis Vavro, Martin Dubravka, and many more. In FM19 they have a very push foward team, low budget and great academy. I can give a hint about FM19, there's a brazilian player named Everton Heleno with amazing stats that i use him has box-to-box and an Argentinian Rodrigo Pepe MCD. And i dont know about FM24, but in FM19 this team i sugested is very good, but very hard to manager because the low budget. But i also do what you are doing, managing teams across the globe in FM19. And i learn many things, for example, in German 3rd division, they always use 3-4-3 like its being used today for many teams. And you got a sub, because its interesting what you doing. Keep it up. I had Myklebust in my Journeyman save. Took him all the way from Norway with me to VfL Wolfsburg where he was my 1st team keeper until the last season, where I won the Champions League. I bought a better keep that season, but only because I had the money - Myklebust should've and could've won the CL with me :)
