Rebuilding Ford's Iconic RS200 Rally Car.

A more in-depth video of the chassis restoration on our ford RS200. Transforming a crash-destroyed A-pillar into good as new condition.
The chassis was retired due to extreme damage in the crash-bang world of 90s rallycross then discovered years later in a field with grass growing through it. Now that the work on Bluebird K7 is on hold the award winning team is devoting its energy into resurrecting this icon of Group-B rally.

great work, you know you have to be a certain age to remember these cars rallying, fortunately or unfortunately, I am old enough to remember, audi quattro, peugot 309, lancia intergralia ?, RS200, metro 6r4 and the earler cars, such as renault mid engine turbos,

Same here but I only ever went to one rally in Kielder where I walked all afternoon in snow to catch a glimpse. It was rallycross all the way after that but I can say I saw the B cars driven in anger. Bill

I’ve hit the subscribe and like button! A very dear friend of mine was also rebuilding his RS200, but he unfortunately passed away before he could see his dream come back to life. Steve Milton was his name - also known as steveboyslim within the ford community. If anyone reading this has any information about if Steve’s 200 is still being rebuilt, I’d love to know? Keep up the good work on the restoration of this one! 👍🏻

We're you've fitted the lower 70mm of steel was there any numbers stamped in the remains where it would have spot welded to the floor panel.
