Rebuilding My Crashed Plane....Removing the Damage and Inspecting

On Memorial Day 2024, I had an incident in N918LN. Luckily, I wasn't injured, and no property or people were hurt. Now its time to rebuild and get the plane back into the air. In this video I remove the damaged components and begin the inspection of the aircraft. Luckily it is not as bad as I originally thought.

Thank you for posting this repair. I am so sorry about the incident. What a learning experience this is on sheet metal repairs. I feel after these repairs your plane will be safe to fly. If the AC 43 says three rows of rivets I would go 4. May your plane be airworthy soon.

@apfelsnutz as long as you follow AC43-13 it will not be an issue.

@aviation4fun 10 gallons each side. plus 8 in the Aux tank. total of 28 gallons. I'm going to add 1 more tank taking it to 36 gallons.

Aux tank is a wing locker tank. it was an option with the kit.
