The Mets of that era are a fun rebuild. I started an OOTP save starting at the Mets 87 season, as many Mets fans like myself believe the team should've won more titles than it did. I'm in year 1995 and although we've gone to the World Series twice in that time, we haven't won. Lost in absolute heart breakers in game 7 twice. On the plus side, in my alternative universe game Eric Davis on the Mets broke the all time home run record in a single season. Biggio and McGwuire were right behind him lol

Honestly I love your videos for all of the alternative history scenarios you create.... Expos beat the Yankees and win the word series but the Mariners lose Griffey and Johnson simultaneously robbing them of their eventual playoff win versus the Yankees... dooming them to a likely relocation. It's as if the two franchises switched places.

Nothing and nobody could save the 93 Mets. Couldn't be done with the blessing of MLB and a magic wand. I have made the argument that they were the worst franchise of the decade that wasn't an expansion team. You had guts to try though. Jeff Reboulet??!!??!!

Out of interest, why are you able to trade draft picks? Would that be something automated evolution of the league turned on, or did you make a personal choice to allow it? Personally, I think that trading draft picks would be a bit game-breaking -- MLB has forbid teams to trade draft picks so long that there isn't any precedent for draft pick value the system could run on. Really enjoy your content!
