I spent a year working on a game in rec room learning new things. Guess what IT DIDNT EVEN GET ANY PLAYERS AND THEN RRSTUDIO WAS RELEASED. the room is called or was called RBBconcert

making maps is impossible Rec room almost discourages room making (unless its shitty ignited pomni roleplay) The MP UI is SO hard to navigate and the amount of frames that drop while using it RR Studio being allowed in contests was just stupid, again discouraging creativity by just spawning Unity assets

I remember I made little games and posted them on the event pages. I would make them the most creative thing I could imagine. Like a crazy race course and even a space race course with a flying ship I made. And people enjoyed it. I’m just glad I was able to give people enjoyable experiences before the whole building and uploading games thing got broken and not fun to use.

i spent like a month creating a game with friends it started to blow up and got 30000 visits in 2 weeks and then it died out because of a room of the same genre being a glorified ignited game 12:55 you can also make your invention paid which would deter cashgrab creators (usually)

They intentionally make the last few monthlys unbearable with weak items so no one would do them and they'd have an excuse to take them away. Charging players for the skins was always there new Agenda in 2024 and beyond.

But that removes the point of the weekly. The weekly quest to me makes me play RROs I wouldn't normaly play like disc gold and crimson. And you get a free skin for a random item! Sure it may be a random one like the backpack in rec royal but it still makes you want to play that game just to check it out and maybe it will be on your list of best RROs.

rec rooms been going downhill since their 6th birthday, they've gained a FULL lack of engagement with the community and with rec room studio being released, the product was that all the roblox clickbait thumbnails were introduced to cash grab 'obbies'. for example: "super omega super mario obby 9999 cash", and then it ends up being some obby COMPLETELY opposite from the thumbnail/title. some rro's are fun to play every now and then, but they get boring FAST. and there's nobody actually sane in the rec center, its either a screaming child or someone blasting music in their mic. not to mention, how they're overpricing the HELL out of items that they put on sale for a WEEK. sure it works sometimes to keep players working for something, but my god its the same process every time. dont even get me started on the 'monthly' at this point, its every other month that we get a rotation of the SAME ITEM one more thing and ill stop yapping, i can't believe how many people pointed out to rec room a few months ago when the mirror was EXTREMELY glitchy. yet they decided to focus on full body avatars, etc. more than the stability of their own game.
