The GTD. was the highlight of the Detroit show for me. Half the floor space is now just ride alongs in cars(mostly EV's), that was likely the last time I will ever attend NAIAS.

Who can afford any of them!? Overpriced bright ideas! Plus 300 miles gets you nowhere in an emergency situation. Charging times are ridiculously impractical. Gas cars can recharge completely to over 300 miles in under 5 mins.

@thevinceberry Over half the states in the country are over 50,000 square miles! You can drive 300 miles and still be in the same state. And that's on a full charge at full battery capacity. Who has a full battery after a days worth of driving? Hence an emergency situation. What if you are down to 30%? Or benefit 60%? Where you going but to a 4 hour charging station.

@@jasonknowledge8824 I’ve driven from L.A. to Butte, Montana (and back!) in my electric car with ZERO problems, locating FAST chargers off the freeway. 80% of my 320 mile range in 17 minutes (I needed to stretch my legs anyway!!). …..Do more research on electric cars, and FAST CHARGERS!! 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

@shadlad91 It is sensory overload for people that have ADHD or autistic traits. It can be difficult to concentrate or focus on what's being said. If a vehicle is on the track, gear heads want to hear the engine and other things with the vehicle. NOT the damn background music. Background music is like added "fluff" in a essay you did for college. It is filler and not needed.

@ Billn1971. This video would barely count for two of of the five sensory triggers in ADHD. Even then considering the effects on those persons I doubt they would subject themselves to any situation that triggers it let alone this short video. So I doubt that is the case. As for cars on tracks that isn’t in this video so that point is irrelevant here where you made the comment. See what I get from your comment is the usual attitude that one’s opinion is pushed as rule. What makes your pov absolutely right and those of us that do prefer the music wrong.
