I lost my hom and almost an entire family of 9...and fell into a complicated grieving...that after on coming therapy...I believe I AM slowly coming back to a productive mindset...I did landscaping for 48 years, 16 as my own business, and fabled in gardening 🌿three raised beds🌿your channel is sooooo uplifting and inspiring🌿an honest to God happy place to have found! Thx for your video! In the cold months I focus on purging stuff indoors, organizing and doing little things to make the house pretty... especially with soft lighting and battery candles. In warm months I focus on gardens, gatherings and events. Makes me look forward to both seasons.

The quick greenhouse update is exciting!! How did you determine the size you'd like to build? Hi !! Thank you ! I was wondering how you prep your beds now for next spring ?

We like to add a layer of fresh compost to each bed. Last year we used mulched leaves for the first time and really liked the results, so we hope to add a layer of mulched leaves to the top of some of our beds. And lastly, we are going to try to cover the beds with old chicken feed bags to keep our cat from doing its business in the beds and keep our free range birds from scratching in them. We'll see how far we get.🙂 Blessings.❤

What do you do to keep mice out of your stored foods?

We keep most everything (except for the produce) in air tight buckets and jars or in totes. It also helps keep things from getting moist during our humid summers. Thankfully we don't have a big mouse problem. Blessings.
