I love the Johnny Dollar shows, particularly with Bob Bailey. His style is timeless and sophisticated. He really makes this show memorable. Also, the insurance angle is really interesting. Johnny doesn't have to bully his way to the solution, instead he uses finesse to find the truth. I listen to the shows while walking outside. It's a great use of my time. Thank you for posting the shows!

Bob Bailey was a terrific actor. It seems to me he had all that humanity in him already and just transferred it to Johnny. I loved this episode ❤️

I believe that Bob Baily is the best of all 5 actors who played Johnny Dollar. There is a cd of all five playing Johnny Dollar. Radio Spirits carries it……

Start your new day off with a couple Johnny Dollar episodes and just maybe the rest of your day will be better than yesterday by listening to a bunch of his cases buy not thinking about yesterday that I still have to do see you in the next Johnny Dollar insurance claim

Pretty good story... Used twice with two different actors playing Johnny Dollar about five or six years apart, maybe more. And also played by Jack Webb as Jeff Regan, Private Detective.

Plus. How great is the theme song?! It's memorable and big, like the Perry Mason theme song.

My all-time favorite Johnny Dollar episode (even if it was pilfered from Jeff Regan) with Duke Red at #2. I love how the plot is complicated enough one has to stop and think, the locales (sunny Key West and steamy New Orleans) and the descriptive visuals, especially the funeral scene ("...there was a candle burning at her head and feet, and she was dead. I don't know how long I stood there in that dark room staring down at her...I think there were other people in there too...")

Someone should have told the writers Ursulines Avenue is nowhere near the French Quarter in New Orleans! I know, I used to live there. Otherwise, it's a great story.

Damned fool. He should've helped her get her money and tell the other guy to drop dead. A relationship built on lies and deception is doomed. Better for her to live her life with her money and find someone worthy.
