Ahhh! I love this content as someone na newly married, nakikita ko ang POV ng mga moms natin. Grabe I admire these ladies and how they talked about your identity as a woman, as a mom, as working professionals, as a friend and many more. 🥹 I ALSO LOVE THE WISDOM specifically the mom in red. Ang sarap niya maging mom and makipagusap about life. 💕 Happy Mother’s Day sa ating magigiting na Ilaw ng Tahanan ❤

I lost my mom last September. First mother’s day ito and birthday na wala siya. Watching this remind me of the things she said/do before she died. 1. Nung may sakit na siya, she wanted me to find someone kasi ayaw niyang mag-isa ako. She was more afraid of me being alone in this world rather than dying. 2. When my best friend stayed with her in the hospital kasi sasamahan ko father ko for his check-up, nag habilin siya sa friend ko to look after me. Kahit may sakit na siya she would still put me above herself. Appreciate your mothers habang anjan pa sila. Happy Mother’s Day ❤

"We can be their friends; we can be their safe spaces. To respond and not react in a natural way. - Mother of Generation X. I hope all the mothers from Generation X will have this kind of mindset and be aware of the word "safe spaces."

The Gen X mom is exactly like my mom. And its so true that kids learn through modelling, my parents tried their absolute best to be the best versions of themselves. It was easier learning how to be a good person when your model people are those at home.

Mama says she is so proud of how all her 5 kids have become, that we're all adults now. But one time, she said she is very sad coz she said she has 5 kids but no one was at home during the holidays. Hay naku. Her poor little heart missing her kids 🥺

I don't think you should always put your children above yourself. Kaya nga sabi nila you should put your own mask first before you assist others. It is not selfish to care for yourself. You need to be of sound mind and good physically health to effectively care for your children and others.
