MJR, thanks for another well-made, informative and interesting video! There are some generous people about donating games and consoles to your collection! It was interesting when you mentioned you played guitar for the game Shivers! I was also interested to see you got a copy of Galatic Attack. I found a copy last year "in the wild" which must mean I am very lucky!

MJR, great vid. Congrats on the weight loss! Working on a bit of that myself. That game Gekioh is actually called Shienryu in Japan. It's known as a very solid shooter and you can even download it from the imports section of the PSN. I had no idea there was an American port. Good find!!

Hey Metal Jesus loving the channel Sir, just found it last week. You are very lucky to have many cool places around you to collect. Just started to collect myself and besides maybe 3 stores around me, the only luck for finding stuff is Ebay which can get pricey. Thanks for the videos. About to order a Metal Jesus t-shirt. Wanted to give a shout out to DMP. Made some of the gamer food and it turned out great.

MJR! Awesome new pickup's video and as always, great editing! How do you capture so many different consoles game footage? Whats your favorite method? (Play through first level, or do you somehow use cheats to get further to show footage faster?) Trying to figure out how to put some into my show, it's just so time consuming! Thx for the episode, you rock!

Kingpin was controversial for the time because of the strong language in the game (something of a rarity back then) and the violence. Also it didn't help that it was released right after the Columbine High School massacre.

Excellent pick ups! For the DS, there are a ton of hidden gems. One I recommend anytime I get the chance is Aliens: Infestation. It is made by Way Forward studios and published by Sega. It's a side scrolling shooter very much in the style of Metroidvania. It's excellent. Well not excellent, but very good lol. Great video!

I saw "Gun" in a stack there, which is one of my fave games. Have you reviewed it, and if so, in which video? Also, funny, back in the day we used to call bands like Poison "lipstick bands." When did people start saying "hair metal"? This is the second time in about a week I have heard the term, but I had never heard it prior to that.

Sweet, I'm a little jealous of those Iron Maiden records. And have you ever heard of the band She Wants Revenge? Their style is completely different than the music you showed in the video but they are a techno, synth-rock band that kinda capture the goth scene from the 80's in their music (at least that is what my dad said about them lol). They're pretty cool, thought I'd share if you're in the mood for some new music.

I had Silent Hill Shattered Memories and I have to say that though the first four in the series are classics, the one on the Wii has its own moments. What you do and how you react to certain scenes in the game changes the ending. I played and beat the game 5 times trying to get the alternate endings. The running away aspect gets easier and just second nature...give it a try and you might enjoy it.

Wii has a bunch of awesome hidden gems with some real chase games. Muramasa, Xenoblade, Monster Hunter Tri, Sin & Punishment, Last Story, Fragile Dreams, Arc Rise Fantasia, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Dokapon Kingdom, Metroid Prime Collection. Seriously, the system has some awesome games. Not to mention Pandora's Tower will release sometime in the spring, the game is sure to be a rarity as the Wii is basically over. Not a bad idea to get a collectors edition of it.

The Neo Geo pocket is a neat little system. I wish it had survived longer. Check out Capcom vs. SNK carfighters clash. Very unique and exclusive to the NGPC (aside from the poor DS port). Also sonic pocket adventure and king of fighters R2 are good, and an RPG called Biomotor Unitron (although that one is tough to find). Good vid!

Another piece of weird Shivers 2 trivia. I did the voice on the answering machine for MJR's character. We never knew that until years later when we saw the credits. Yup, even way back then I was putting words in his mouth.

awesome stuff. i'm big into vinyl too, though still only have powerslave by maiden on vinyl (just don't stumble upon quality metal on vinyl in the wild around here). that picture disc is cool too, though for me that type of record has always been about display more than play as most tend to sound like absolute crap, and always worse than a standard black vinyl. heck, even some coloured vinyl has that problem, though i find it's nowhere near as bad as picture discs.
