@@yvonnemurray5537 I want to thank you for your comment and total compliment! I had to stop because I had very aggressive chemotherapy which brought on some challenging autoimmune diseases. I still hear from many of my students and love them all!! They have given me so much in life. You touched my heart in such a powerful way. I do continue to teach and the fact that you took the time to text that message showed me who you are. God bless you. If you ever need a friend, I am here. Thank you, Yvonne Murray. ❤️

This is definitely encouraging to those of us who hear so much bad news every day. Sometimes, before I turn in, I listen to BBC News at 10:00 pm on NPR. Terrible situations all over the world. Plus disturbing environmental problems. I hope that each of these youngsters has a better world instead of the one that we have been warned about. Bravo to Julian S Barnum.

The best way to learn from your differences is to start with your common foundation. For all the differences that you think you might have you'll find as you grow older those differences are usually almost insignificant It's best to focus on what you have in common than what you don't have in common

Very cute… however, taking it to another level, I must ask, Why select interviewees based on clothes? Do a comparison, when u ask plainly dressed children the same questions you ask of very colorfully dressed kids., what if any, are the differences in their answers? Are the plainly dressed kids “dull”? Are they less articulate than brightly dressed kids? Do they actually have less imagination? What factors impact the way a child dresses? The clothing options that are available? Do they also have dull parents? Do less imaginative kids, with dull clothes on, live in less affluent environments? Have you ever interviewed kids that live in homeless shelters, or kids who are in the foster care system? So many questions…so little time for what actually matters.
@jackmorrison73792 жыл бұрын
Ha! Talk about a non-representative person talking to a (word he would use) curated group of children. Brooklyn gentrified white yuppie culture and children of the black middle class. Artisanal mayo, anyone? He sure isn't Art Linklater or THE Mr. Rogers. Let him leave the echo chamber and get out and interview children whose parents have not been to the Great Wall or European museums and do not have a lifetime subscription to NPR. People who listen to country music, shop in big box stores, went to second tier colleges or no college, and actually own cars (oh the horror!). Until their children worry about the planet or other weighty things, you are preaching to the already converted.

"And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." (REVELATION 20:12-15 NKJV) Today, while you are still alive and able, may you repent from your sins, believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that JESUS CHRIST is your Lord and Savior, so that through Him, your name will be written in the Book of Life. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." (JOHN 3:16-17 NKJV) JESUS LOVES YOU. HE DIED ON THE CROSS SO THAT YOU MAY HAVE LIFE. Please do not ever forget that.
