Hi Mami, Thanks for this receipe. My dad used to do this Inji Puli pickles about 50 years back. He is no more and I didn't know how to do this. I remember my dad used to grind the ginger and the green chillies, using the Aatukallu. He used to do a lot and distributed to my neighbours. Even my Malay and Chinese neighbours used to love them.

Hi after 4yrs i am watching your puli inji recipe, one suggestion --ginger was cut in big cubes , instead it can be coarsely grind in the mixi and trust me it will be more tasty that what that mami showed .

I have seen two deferent ways in various time. Gi ger in small pieces roasted and added asit is and.in another case after roasted it alittle pulvarised in a mixi jar and added .

It has the taste of puliyodarai. We used to keep licking our fingers not troubled by the spiciness. It used to go well with curd rice. Thanks for sharing. This was how my mom used to do it. She didn't grind the ginger. Keralites have a different style of making. Thanks mami for sharing traditional recipes

Puli inji is super. I feel the quantity of ginger can be less.and also chopped very fine. We in Kerala use only gingelly oil for preparing puli inji.

Vanakkam mami and mam, Romba naala oru authentic puli inji thedindu irundhen. Mamikku ROMBA periya nandri. Mam, neenga sonna madhiri, injidhan nanna illa, romba naar, naara, vasanaiyum illa! Season vandhadhum niraya panaporen, Once again thanks to mami, Fork is a very good tip mam. Mam, PY, VC specialil, unga "Bombayil kilariya Rava Kesari" episode suuuuuuuuuuuper. Nanna rasichu sirichen. Nanna irundhadhu episode!

Thanks. One can mix it with cooked rice and eat with fryums as side dish too. (My wife also used to say, don't ask teaspoon or tablespoon, we use our eyes and hands)

Every step was very good. My suggestion is not to keep on stirring the pot while the curry is still cooking. My grandmother has advised me not to stir too much while the curry is still boiling. Sorry for reminding you Amma.

பச்சை மிளகாய் வத்தல் மிளகாய் சேர்த்து தான் போடவேண்டும். புளி விட்ட பிறகு அது நன்கு கொதித்து குறுகிய பிறகு கடைசியில் தான் இஞ்சி போடவேண்டும்.இது கசப்புத் தன்மை இல்லாமல் இருக்க இப்படி செய்வது

I am malayalee we dont add kadalaparupu for puli inji for thalipu only kadugu,venthyam drychilli, perungayam&curry leaf the rest all is same.Thanks mami🙏

Already there are Rava Dosa Puli Pongal pesarattu dosa Kanchipuram idli Morkuzu poori potato .3 varieties Aval Upma rava Pongal ven pongal pidi kozakatti (salt ). Neer dosa Ragi Puri.
