Oh man, you guys are changing our life. I have tried plant based whole food, on and on and on...and lasted a few days here and there. But then I started really watching your videos and trying all your recipes and it's become this weekly shopping, cooking party!! And we are thriving, loving the food, totally committed forever (hopefully) and having so much fun! We owe it all to you both, the recipes and research you do, your charming personalities. 💖💖💖💖🥑🧄🍎🍌🍊

I made the dressing! I've had it on a chopped salad that was about 1/2 spring mix and 1/2 cabbage (DELICIOUS); on stir-fried broccoli, onion, and garlic that I topped with scrambled tofu (AMAZING); and on dry-fried tofu on a bed of spinach (SCRUMPTIOUS). I'm putting Brussels sprouts on my shopping list as soon as I finish typing this comment. You guys are awesome!

We make Brussels Sprouts weekly and put them in our salads. We toss them in our dressing (lightly dresed) and then cook them at 400 for 25 mins and they get all carmelized, browned and crisp all over. Great on salads.

When I roast brussels sprouts, I often just cut a cross about 1/4 inch deep into the base. This lets the more fibrous base cook completely while the leafy parts don't get overcooked too quickly. Of course, sometimes I just cut them in half, like in the video, (or in quarters) but I wanted to share a way to roast them whole. Edit: aaaaaah, I commented to soon!

Whole new attitude about Brussel's sprouts. Can't wait to see Brian's versions. I bought a oven like the foodie but can't use it here. So jealous. sauce sounds great.

Another great way to make carmelized brussels sprouts is to cook them on the stove top in a cast iron pan with a drizzle of balsamic and/or lemon juice. You can add a little water to the pan too to prevent sticking as they cook. Delish!

I wasn't going to watch this video because I have tried brussels sprouts twice before and did not like them. I cooked them two different ways, both tasted watery and extremely bland for some reason--perhaps because I used frozen brussels sprouts or maybe it was the recipe? I will try them one final time, simply because I really enjoy Brian's recipes (especially his hummus-yum). I predict I will like them this time because I will not buy frozen, I will get fresh ones plus I haven't tried a recipe yet that included tahini that I didn't love. Thanks guys for the delicious whole food recipes :)
