Senaikkizhangu Pollichadu... My long awaited banana leaf wrapped dish that too using yam. I prepared this dish yesterday ie 31/07/22. Normally as you mentioned in your demo this is a Kerala style mimic dish which usually contains fish wrapped in banana leaf and tawa fried after the initial process of cooking the masala.Also prepared in Bengali and Goanese style. The dish was very delicious and a spontaneous hit with my family.Three things I really liked are: 1. Cutting the yam into sliced fish shape 2. Using coconut oil for cooking and frying which enhanced the taste of the dish to next higher level. 3. Finally using banana leaf for the finish (tawa fry) Thank you for sharing this wonderful recepe 😋😋😋🌹
