Today, It's a viewer's wish. This parotta recipe was posted in English and most of you asked in Tamil. So we wanted to make a Tamil version of this video. Parotta is a favorite dish for many people. But most of us will think
it's not hygienic to eat outside. When we make it at home, we worry about soft and flakiness But it's a simple technique. Everyone can make it easily at home. Today, it's a soft flaky parotta. Maida is the main ingredient in this dish. And I took some salt and sugar also. Also, we need cooking oil. The amount of oil will result directly in the softness and flakiness of the dish.

Parotta
Maida - மைதா - 500g
Milk - பால் - 100 ml
Egg - முட்டை - 1 nos
Cooking Oil - சமையல் எண்ணெய் - 4 to 5 tbsp
Sugar - சர்க்கரை - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - உப்பு - As per taste

It is. But people still eat it. We should eat wheat parotta instead. I make them at home and it's quite easy to make and delicious to eat.

@@btsarmyforever3816 Do not spread misinformation. If you are so worried about health, PCOS, gluten etc., wheat in any form is bad for everyone's health. You should only be eating vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds.

Maida is not good for health, especially for women. PCOS is related to maida. All women should avoid any product made of Maida, and men should also eat this less. Too much gluten forms in maida, which is bad for health, especially for gut and brain. Very bad for diabetic patients. It takes nearly 8 hours for this to digest. Wheat parotta is also very tasty and healthy. It also uses bit of ghee to form the layers, as ghee is healthier as well. Less effort and time too. I make wheat parottas in less than an hour. Resting time just 10min. To make 6 wheat parottas is takes 40min or so. knead roll flatten and cook. This maida takes hours of resting time and needs experience and more effort to properly shape and cook.

@@BC999 My info is scientific. Wholewheat is rich in fibre low calorie and good for health. All doctors advise diabetic patients to eat roti more instead of rice. Maida is NOT wholewheat. It is processed and different. It takes a minimum of 8 hours to digest maida parotta. Ask any doctor if maida is good for you. They will say no.

@@btsarmyforever3816 If so, that is pesudo-science. No sane doctor would prescribe rotis for diabetics; it is as bad as sugar. I never said maida is whole wheat! The only difference between whole wheat and maida is that the latter is so refined that it loses even some of the fiber that is in the whole wheat. If someone is very healthy without even a mild symptom like heartburn, and under 20, then yes, consuming maida in very limited quantity and whole wheat in moderation will not produce any harmful effect, but certainly wheat in any form is NOT FOR OTHERS.
