We do a lot of repeat prints, so we will take down and set up a job multiple times before reclaiming that screen. Would it be worth using the Easiway Multipurpose after each run or do you run the risk of messing up the emulsion after a few washes?

Hi! When you are ready to reclaim your screen - that's when the Multipurpose or a similar chemistry will be best. The reason for that is, when you add ink to that screen again for your next print run, you are "refreshing" any color that was left in the image area. Think of it as a light rain on the dry river bed I spoke of in the video. By the time you are done printing, the pigment has been picked up and moved around and should be "back to a normal state", making cleaning a "breeze".

Just saw another video that had a tip I still have to try where the guy sprays the wash on the screen on press and uses his squeegee to clean the majority of it pooling it to one area where the sponge towel mops up and then it’s less to clean. One other follow up question is that I had a supplier suggest to not ink wash before putting the screen in the dip tank unless you really wash it out good. He explained that the chemical could sometimes interfere with the PH of the emulsion remover. Is this true of most ink washes or is it maybe not the case? I want to move away from dip tanking and then ink washing cause I get a lot of ink buildup in the dip tank and then it cakes onto the side of the screen frame and it’s annoying. Thanks as always Colin, keep the videos coming!

You need to have A LOT of cleaning chemistry left on the screen for it to damage the PH balance (acidity) of the dip tank - Over Time. BUT, technically that sales rep is correct. The main reference for that is when people try to blend an ink cleaner and stencil remover at very strong ratios. That can kill a dip tank as quick as 1 day.

@@colinhuggins6164 Ahh gotcha. So if I simply rinse it off well I’ll be good to go. Yeah he was essentially saying the dip tank solution wouldn’t last as long but I’m sure it’ll be fine from what you said. Thanks again!

Maybe I should get away from 305 presh wash cause my screens do seem clogged after I clean them 🤔

Anything that says Press Wash should only be used for color changes :)

Is there a chemical in the Sgreen Starter kit quart that is equivalent to this multipurpose spray?
@Ryonet2 ай бұрын
The closest product in the Sgreen line up is the Ink Degrader.

Easiway is no good imo. We have to spray double, triple the amount to work similar to s green
