You know what doesn't exist? A person with weak arms who can climb up and down a rope. When it comes to bicep, brachialis, forearm development and grip strength, you're hard pressed to find a better exercise than rope climbs.
Recline rope climbs are a regression for those of us who either don't have enough rope to climb up and down OR are just to darn heavy/weak to do a proper unassisted rope climb, but still want to reap the benefits.
