I just came back from a day of clay shooting and two times when I hit the bolt release and the bolt chambered a round it fired a round itself!! Have you had this happen and if so or not any recommendation on what caused it or what to look for? Please help I’m now scared to use it

You dont say but I am going to guess you didn't have a magazine attached to the gun and placed a round in the chamber by hand. The gun is not designed to be fired without a magazine attached. Because of the upward pressures created in a 10 round magazine the recoil spring that works the action has to be very strong. This is to push the round out of the mag. The friction of the top round on the second round is high. So the recoil spring is very strong. If you shoot the gun with no mag there is no friction. The bolt slams home with more energy than it was designed for. Inside the bolt you have the firing pin. When it slams home the weight of the firing pin compresses the firing pin spring and it travels forward and will contact the live cartridge. It's rare for the round to go off because the F12 is not used in this way often. I know of one person it has happened to at the start of a PSG match. He placed the round fully into the chamber by hand. It never happened to me as I just throw the round in the open ejection port and the friction caused by picking it up and clambering it is enough to slow it down. When I found d out about the danger I stopped dropping the bolt and forward assisted by hand. Hope that answers it. Like I said I'm guessing you had no mag on the gun. Let me know if it's anything different.

That’s exactly right sir, thanks so much for that.the other issue I had today was I am not able to unscrew the choke,I put it in tightened it by hand and I am absolutely unable to remove it I actually bent the truck tool trying to remove it

My apologies I meant Choke tool

And yes it did thread into the barrel with ease and only gave it a little bit of torque at the end to tighten it up so I have no idea why it’s so tight now

And for your information I am in Canada so five round mags are all we can have but that’s exactly what must’ve happened as far as the truck is concerned I am baffled by how tight it is now furthermore I am very grateful to your replies I watched all your videos and this gun is amazing thank you so much for those videos and replying to me so soon

First check my video on taking the gun apart and then follow it and see if anything is broken or assembled wrong. If you can I would take some video of what the problem is. If you go on facebook and search for groups and type in Typhoon F12 owners USA and the Rest of the world, that is my group and talking on there will be easier than youtube messages.
