just got 2 600.4 and a 1200.1. feel great quality. got the 15 $ tweeters a while ago. there amazing. gonna do a whole build with their equipment. ill do a video after im done. glad there amps are good as well.

@@HiFiVector im about to put 2 of theese on 4x sundown e8 v6's im curious to if u have tested this amp at .5 ohm my plan is to run each amp at 2 ohms per pair of 8's but just curious if i could ever wire each pair down to .5 ohm mainly to combat any box rise if needed or just for flat out more burping power

I picked one up almost two weeks ago, can't wait to test it out. I'm actually trying out a few amps like topstronggear tsg1100.1, sundown sfb600d and I just had the Taramps MD1800.1 all are great amps Sundown is a little pricey for what it is but still an awesome amp.

I think BigD and Robotunderground have some beef with each other so I don't expect him to Dyno this anytime soon but he did Dyno the 600 watt version I think. Robotunderground pushes the recoil amp and accessories, Robot can be a bit critical because there's a lot of B.S. in car audio but I like them both.

I bought this amp because of this review. Blew both of my kicker comp 12s. Bought 2 infinity 1200 watt 12s. Blew one of them yesterday after playing them for 4 days. Amps a beast. Currently subwoofer shopping now. Love how these infinity sounded. Sucks. Oh well. Time to see what else i can find better. Thinking of these Soundstream R3s.

Njoy ure video. But here's a few tip I'd like u 2 include: zoom up on the display of the dyno so we can see the read outs more visibly, talk more about the feature of amp( we didn't hear u comment on the inputs or the xover) and this wud b a bonus feature: open the back of amp so we c the guts. Gud job tho and that amp seem 2 worth the buck per watts. Keep up d work.

I'm running this on 2 kicker L5 10s in my wife's SUV and it sounds good. The amp doesn't feel cheap @ all. I'm very impressed with this so far. $134 from Amazon.

I got there performance series components the 600.4 ab 4 channel they killing it on all there gear subs and pro audio speakers coming by end of month and there also other series amps coming too. Start stop compatible d1 600.1 600 RMS @2 ohms and D1 550.4d $85 each

That's nice, be cool to try out one of they're subs. Another brand you should try is Audiolegion I have one of their 12 gladiators dual 2ohm andbits a beast. $85 right now and that won't last cuz I think Skar audio bought them out.

Will it for sure handle those sub ohm loads on a daily basis? Im curious, i have a 300 amp alt and over 60 ah of headway lithium. But i was wanting to add another d2 sub and drop to .5 before rise.

Running mine at 2ohm pushing my 12" type R like a beast, never gets warm for me (4 gauge wiring with 120amp inline fuse)

@@Reckless77 recap. Wasn’t the Amps fault. Alternator was going bad causing voltage issues. It wasn’t a full shut down of the Alternator. It was working just enough to keep things going. No issues now except i just blew one of my infinity subs. Just ordered a replacement.

Have you checked out the 600.4 yet? I've considered buying it. For $95, it's a good deal! Only recoil product I currently use is a 500a isolator between my agm & headway lithium bank.

I have 2 of the RED 600.4' s in a customers ride...solid performance, such a clean amplifier with plenty of power on reserve! I originally hooked 1 up in His Kia Soul Exclaim (this build is all over the internet) ran channels 1 & 2 stereo into 2 ohms with 4 Recoil Rose Gold 6.5" Components -- boastful power & mid bass for sure from stock door locales! Then channels 3 & 4 from same amp juiced his 2) Audiopipe TXX- 1222 dual 2 OHM coils each 12" through a vented rhino lined Q- Bomb double 12 box and holy shit, that amp should not be $99 bucks, but he liked it so much he asks for 2 matching 600.4's/ & a matching RED 1200.1 also! Each 600.4 powers 2 doors each in bridged mode stereo, through a Stetsom 8 channel DSP! I have owned/ sold/ and dealt some major brands in over 30+ years career, but I'll tell you Recoil (this Kia Soul Exclaim is all Recoil equipment) has not failed me with any of their products! Price/Performance/looks & quality, it's all there;) I have the RED 600.1(My customer bought it for me)the smaller mono juicing my garage/work shop theater subs everyday & that thing never misses a beat 😂 again Recoil rocks!

I got the 600.4 yesterday not impressed. If your running mids and tweets it would do good. Tried running a 10" sub on 3&4 bridged barely powered it.

My question is about the efficiency I saw the efficiency was pretty low considering that it's amano so supposedly the efficiency should be about 80% what does that mean is the question does that make a good or bad?

There are a lot amps that the efficiency is in the 50’s and 60’s so I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily bad. Especially with lower wattage amps that aren’t drawing much power. Obviously better efficiency means the amp will use less power so better efficiency is a plus though.

The problem is with these companies, you dont know the longevity of it. I heard on the 2500 watt version, people were saying it lasted a few months, and then died.

I sold it as I didn’t need it but they guy I sold it to has had no problems At all. He’s running it with an American bass elite 15. And it’s been solid for him.

@HiFi Vector Right on, I'm planning on getting two 15s from Pat at Robotunderground and maybe another Recoil amp. I already got two 12s from him running on a JP8. They sound great but need a little bit more power. I want a JP23

@@timothy5977 Take a look at the soundstream TXP amps they put out pretty close to what they are rated at RMS and reliable and good prices. I have 4 of them and never skipped a beat. Can't go wrong with Taramps either. JP amps are great if you have the budget for them. Also the HIfonics half bridge BRX2416.1D puts out pretty much what a JP23 V1.5 does and they are like $200.. If I could I would own every amp and sub ever made lol

Wired at 1 ohm yes. But with box rise giving 4 250w subs about 1500 watts would get the most out of them. But this amp will still work decent.

@@HiFiVector I’m didn’t mean to pick on Recoil products. But in general, dyno runs just don’t seem long enough to stress any amp to the point a person could determine longevity.

@@preinstalleduser2309 No worries... no one really knows how long an amp will last but the amp dyno puts way more of a load on an amp than if the amp was installed and running speakers. When speakers are run impedance jumps around constantly, never staying at the same impedance very long. Usually a sub wired to 1 ohm you will see it bounce around to 1 to 4 ohms so it is a lot less demanding than a non reactive stable dyno load of 1 ohm that is constant. And the uncertified tests hold for about 8 seconds at the specified load which no real world speaker will do because of impedance rise. This is why you see some amp " Blow up" when dyno tested but in a car with speakers it never would have blown.

In my mind, I would hook-up a bank of resistors (value?), set for a predetermined amount of power, (value?) for a determined allotment of time (value?) would be a better way.

The question is how long this and other budget amps will Last? Most of this economical amps will take a dump after a couple of months, especially if you run them hard, they are not heavy duty, Be wise with your hard earned money, save up alittle more and buy an amp from a reputable manufacturer, buy once, cry once but enjoy your investment for a Long time.

Honestly I see a lot of problem with expensive amps too so i guess it just all depends on the exact model if its reliable lor not. Some cheap amps are super reliable. And some some expensive amps have a lot of issues so it just depends really.

The only thing i domt like about these reviews are they are not real world results. Nobody buying a budget amp like this is going to have sexure electric and have anywhere near 14 volts at full capable volume. These should be done at both rates 11.75v or as close to real world reality as possible so everyday people know whatbthwy are going to get
