Recoil RED600.1 Overview and Amp Dyno

I'll never forget when you dyno'd the 1200.1 and it did north of 1400 watts. Bought one right away and never looked back. Later on I grabbed the 600.4. Recoil is probably the best budget banger brand across the board.

I have never seen a bad recoil review. Only recoil I have currently is 2 6ch rca cables and even those are good quality for the price😊

i also had the AudioZERone , it was a great amp, i had the 1000watt one, but i sent it back to amazon, i wanted more, so i ended up getting the DRrock 1500.1 and the DR rock amps are awesome !!!

@@MrSzero13 yeah, I have the 1000 watt one but I use it my house, I don't have a car, with 2 $30 12 inch subs and they are alright. Need some better subs now lol but life getting in the way.

The 1800.5 is a pretty nice amp. I put one in my daughters explorer with 4 skar 6x8s and 2 recoil pw12s and its pretty impressive for what it is.

That is a great little amp! I got a little 4 channel Taramps amp on the way to add power to some extra speakers to my existing Pioneer setup. Love the videos man! 👍🏻

I own the 2ohm stable version of this amp - the DI600.1 and it crushes at 2ohm. The Red600.1 is the 1ohm stable version. Excellent value for money and my Aviator crushes on one 10.

I noticed the 12v-0.2v gain. So high level and low level go through the rca inputs no switch to deal with. Nice.

Really nice review. In no way am I saying that the quality is cheap, but anyone wanting a very nice budget build, recoil is very hard to beat in amps,sound stage, and accessories. The subs I can't say anything about, no experience with them. Haha, that 2500.1 being hard to get is a very good indicator of what it can do for the price. Recoil has a new model amp it's a Dii5000.1 yep a 5k amp a Brazilian full bridge designed that's beefed up.

I was hoping you could help me. First I’ll say thank you for the video, excellent video brother. You are correct about this amp it is an excellent amp and when you consider the price point, you can’t go wrong. Now, I bought this amp for my 16yo son and and got him a kicker comp R 12” dvc 4ohm in its kicker ported box. Within 1 week the sub is putting out a burning smell. It’s basically on a 2ohm load, what settings would you recommend to save this sub before he fries it, gain is set just below max, I think I may have the frequency set around 40hz and bass boost is not at a high setting, any recommendations would be appreciated. So yea guys, that lets you know how powerful this little amp is, it packs a punch especially on a single sub setup

The bass knob acts as an attenuator for the audio signal (all the frequencies). You typically want it unplugged (no attenuation) or turned up (no attenuation) when setting your gain. The bass boost on the amp is like a one band EQ centered at 45hz. If you turn it up, it does increase the signal level. If you need to use it, set it where you want and then set your gain. If you set your gain with bass boost off and then later turn the bass boost up it can cause the amplifier to clip early. Most folks will tell you don't use the bass boost at all.

They are good amps just don't last long , I have had three of them die with in two years
