everyone in the neighborhood should stop their garbage service and haul their own garbage to the dump.

Recology should convert its fleet to CNG if this is the case. CNG trucks are quieter.

thank you for this, and to all the idiots blaming the renters for daring to want sleep, know that there are many large cities with noise ordinances preventing operation of garbage trucks at night. They have even jailed a garbage man who was a repeat offender. So the "let them do their job" comment is stupid. P.S. I live in the back of the building and still have these issues so STFU!

Why complain,is part of living in the City. Plus you would complain if the service would be done later on the morning. You can plainly see that no other vehicles can go around. So don't think it has fall on deaf ears this are just a few trucks that start early. That rest of us got to be behind this trucks,backing up traffic just because YOU call and video this hard working men. We who live here in the city too for many many years have learn to live with it,because this a great city to live in

they can't do that the dump is no where near san fransico.and it would be cheaper to have thed curbside serivce.

that's rubbish and stupid reasoning. just because the street is busy at say 11am doesn't mean it should be done at 3am. Many bigger cities have regulations on when garbage trucks can roll around (most forbid it before 6am) No human being deserves to be woken up with such loud noise, NOBODY. There is mountain of research that show this condition may cause serious health problems. You have other streets to take when/if your blocked temporarily, residents there cannot go and sleep elsewhere.
