Recology San Francisco: Split Body Lodal EVO Side Loader Garbage Truck in Golden Gate Heights!

Hey everyone! Back when this was recorded, I finally got the chance to film up the hill from my place where you can see some nice views of the city! For weeks, I had been trying to figure out when collection day was up there, so when I saw bins out Monday evening, all over the upper hills, I embarked up there the next morning to get some video! After following around my regular recycling driver for a bit, and trying to chase down a city ran Leach rear loader, I caught up with this guy nearing the end of his route. Turns out, he is the normal driver for this area, and a Lodal is his usual truck! I was able to follow along for around 20 minutes and grab some footage, with some shots of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Outer Sunset area (in the morning ;). With that, thanks to the friendly driver for allowing me to film, and enjoy the video!

Nice work! Glad to see there are still some split Lodals out and about! Neat to see so many NorCal toters still around! The truck has just a really authentic look and sound to it, one of the last remaining Routes in the state of California that is done completely by hand! Great work!

Lodals are still in frequent use. It does public bins at parks and street corners that Recology doesn’t service
