Recommending Autumn Movies & Things But It Keeps Getting Darker

It's everyone's (well...) favorite season! Autumn has arrived and don't we all have some favorite media we like to consume this time of year? If you are lacking in ideas for what to consume (ha ha ha), then try some of these recommendations on for size!
Also, that's "darker" as in the lighting. I tried to use the sun but it uhhh left.

i enjoyed this! what a fun way to recommend movies. i think the bg music was a little loud for me but im definitely gonna take a look at your other videos -- i saw nancy drew LPs which is exciting bc ive never been smart enough to solve them loooool

Autumnal is correct, and Mr. Fox is the only Wes Anderson movie I actually like. For me fall means the undergraduates are back and it's time to teach haha (which I actually enjoy)

looove Columbo as a comfort show!! I got super into watching it in 2021 while finishing my undergraduate degree during the first big wave of lockdown on campus, and then quarantine completely, but something about the visuals of the show gives autumn, you're right-I can't pin what it is except maybe the way columbo talks (ex:"Oh, and, one last thing-") reminded me of my fav creative writing class workshop dynamic with how he frames it as a theory with room for error but makes cutting remarks with a very affable tone of voice that lulls the perp into thinking Columbo's analytical gaze could be led astray , all of it ever serving academia vibes

Definitely Columbo/Peter Falk's whole demeanor is comforting. I said while filming but edited out me going on about how Columbo always makes his food and drink (coffee especially) so appealing. What a vibe!
