Thank you, this helped me and was very insightful. For everyone who's having trouble with the keyframes not being recorded, One mention I would make is that your view needs to be set to Camera Perspective for this to work, and make sure that under Transform, the Location and Rotation fields are yellow (this means the keyframe insert is active for them, in order to do that just hover your cursor over them and press the hotkey I). Hope this helps someone XD

Here's a quick tip : Open a new window and set to graph editor. Set Curve to constant !! Then Press A to select all, then click KEY top of screen. click Sample keyframes. Select all, then Click KEY again and click Smooth Keyframes. Then set back to Bezier curve. Now you have automatically added tons of extra keyframes and smoothed them in 30 seconds. Smoother movements x 100. ENJOY !!

Thanks dude. I often run tests to see how tile size effects render times. That's why I sometimes have weird tile sizes.

Your other comment about the wheel aking it go too fast, I can see the comment in my notifications but no where else for some reason. Anyway, sounds like you have your wheel scroll settings set too fast in your mouse properties settings. Go to the control panel, mouse, wheel, and adjust the speed slower. That should solve that issue.

I enabled the auto keying but after that the key-frames aren't getting recorded in timeline. what could be the reason?

Don't forget to press the round record button next to the play button.

I can’t move faster with my laptop. Not tried it with a mouse though. Do I have to emulate for mousepad for it to move faster

For your recording scene at the end, did you record it being in render preview while you were flying or material preview and then converted it into cycle for the final video ?

Make sure you did this at 3:58 and make sure you have the camera selected before pressing the record button, then the play button and then the fly command.

I thought I did the setup correctly and pressed all the buttons...but at 5:01 I could not get the transform to work so that it records keyframes for the camera positions. Where did I go wrong?

It only records after pressing play. That would be my guess on the step you missed.

Sir which button are you using to rotate the camera

I'm aiming the camera with the mouse and using the scroll wheel to move forward and backwards. Alternatively you can use the same keys on the keyboard that's used in games to move a player forward, backwards, left, right and turn the camera with the mouse.

The only thing I can imagine is that you missed a step. 1) 4:00 make sure you set the keyframes to location rotation. 2) Make sure you have the camera selected. 3) 4:18 Make sure you press record 4) Make sure you are at frame 1 and then press play. It records and inserts the keyframes as it plays.

I tried it again and it works. Press F3 function key to bring up the search menu and type either fly or walk and you will see it.

If you press "0" on the number pad, you enter camera view.

The reason is likely at 4:00 You likely chose "location" and not "location rotation". That's my guess.
