I'm losing my head over this, I've set it up, but the delay is unbearable for action games, is there any workaround, option that I have to toggle/adjust ?
@Activater3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, thats the biggest flaw with some capture cards. Although the capture card i use here is cheap AF, it has that delay. However, this video is the same thing, but I use a splitter and another monitor to achieve no delay: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iqaQZXptqq6aZsU

@@Activater I'll check it out, but before checking the video I'm guessing that I will have to use a better Capture card :D
@Activater3 жыл бұрын
@@madjon nah, basically a splitter sends a duplicated version of your consoles hdmi signal to a different monitor or TV while your capture card captures the gameplay.

Good Vid. I bought several of these cards, and they are flippin awesome for the price point.

Super cheap! Although they work, there're far better options out there if you have the money for it. 😄 FPS being stuck to 30 is tough for me. I love 60fps and above!

@@Activater I don't see an audio turn on option when choosing the USB video (switch)

Did you check the "use custom audio" box near the bottom of the settings?

Is the AVermedia Live Gamer 4K the only one that has basically no delay/latency?
@Activater3 жыл бұрын
Hmm, this is something I never really tested. I think it is great. I do have an elgato card and a the little USB stick in this video that both add delay. However I also have a second elgato card and its totally fine. Very strange... I have another capture card video coming up soon. $100 4k60 HDR external card. Hoping its good!

so ive plugged my hdmi into my switch and capture card, but when i drop down the video capture device device menu, the only thing that shows is obs virtual camera
@Activater2 жыл бұрын
How is your capture card plugged in? USB? or a PCIe slot? Also, what capture card do you have?
@breadstique71082 жыл бұрын
@@Activater USB and i got the same capture card you used as an example in the video

Any update here? I would try to re add the video capture source. If it works on a TV, then you know the HDMI is working. But if the capture card doesn't show up, re-add the source and/or restart your pc
