Recording "Lemons Make Lemonade" with Jon Batiste!

I'm super excited to share the behind-the-scenes footage of recording my friend and recent Grammy Award Winner, Jon Batiste, on my song "Lemons Make Lemonade." This song was inspired by him and his infectious positivity and personality, and I was thrilled to get him as my featured guest on this song! We recorded this in one take in the CBS Studios at the Late Show with Stephen Colbert Dressing Room in NYC on 10/5/2015 after that days taping.
I thought it'd be fun to upload the unedited interrupted session so you can truly see what went on during our recording! It was beautiful to witness Jon's live takes and awesome to have the freedom of having good mobile gear to record! We recorded this on an Apollo interface and a Neumann KMS 105 Mic (no fancy studio gear!) Shoutout and big thanks to Louis Cato for engineering and singing! Also, wait for a fun cameo appearance by one of my favorite saxophonists, Eddie Barbash.
