If you want to see more about recording law enforcement in the Houston area, please see channels like "News Now Houston", "The Battousai", and "SAEXTAZYPREZ". In fact, the guy behind "The Battousai" channel recently handed Corpus Christi PD a loss in the federal court case "Turner vs. Driver" where the court reiterated the right of people to video record police in the performance of their duties. After those kids held their rally in front of Baytown PD, they were given extra special attention by that department, the local Harris County constables (probably PCT 6), and Harris County Sheriffs Office. Without a doubt, those three kids' names and information are likely in the local Fusion Center for further future harassment by local and national law enforcement orgs.

:a fact not to be overlooked, these ambiguous arrest and lied about charges is PD's goal to tag all blacks with a criminal records.. in this way the law can say, [oh, but you've been arrested before. so you have a history.] something they can condemn you with, if ever be deemed necessary for their favor.. *these arrest are future set ups for the department.. remember, *prison lock ups need numbers to be successful $$ and they'd like to keep their entrance doors primed and ready just for this reason.. while at time the prisoners found guilty become dollar stocks for the institutions.. prisons are money makers believe it.. they talk about how much it takes to ward an inmate, tell us how much the prison will gross out of the yearly funds for him being there..

I dealt with a cop when I was in my early 20s who threw me up against the trunk of his car for nothing. I wasn't resisting or disrespecting him so how was it okay for him to treat me that way? That badge makes them think they're superman and untouchable and in many cases, most cops mistreat people or even kill them and all they get is fired. No prison time, no consequences. It's pretty f'd up and it needs to change.

You can't be arrested for saying whatever you want, the first amendment protects your freedom of speech. However, you can be arrested for disturbing the peace. It is within an officers discretion wether or not you are disturbing the peace, but if you are cussing loudly in front of kids, or just other people in general, and the cops are called, they usually will consider that disturbing the peace. Just some info on some laws here in the USA. Not meant to portray my opinion on this matter.

Recording police exposes them to the Public morale. Every single person on the planet has broken a law sometime in their life and they might've had to pay for it or not. The police breaks these laws that goes unnoticed because who will arrest the police? Thus recording them exposes their crimes to the public and holds them accountable which were getting unnoticed otherwise.

Yeah, I would rather have an evidence based society than a "He did this" society, it is just much more logical. I do not think the cop is in the right, and sadly cops like this exist with other cops ignoring it, even allowing it to occur. But, that does not mean a society should believe anything people say, but it also should not mean one person has more power than another person when it comes to their side of the story, as it is unfair.
