My first turntable was similar to this but it was the ION brand. This was back when I was getting into the vinyl game and I remember buying it at a TJMAXX for $40 in early 2017…

Why don't these manufactures get a speed disc like yours to check the speed before they send these products out this is getting ridiculous just about every low level turntable the speed is off set 😂

I agree, it made an interesting show. It felt like watching a suspense movie. You knew for sure that something bad would happen, but what exactly would it be? So...yes, I watched the full video. You are a very polite detective. I kind of liked the bits I heard from that record. You said it was "Moon 85", I'm going to look it up. The most notable part of the video was, for me, why are you discontinuing the rainbow colored custom-made 45 adapter? I'm kind of avoiding the news these days, so maybe I don't really want that answer. Couldn't you discontinue the red one instead? 🎉

That was vinyl moon number 85… Check out vinyl moon online. The multicolor Rainbow adapter will be phased out because the alternate color is always offered for limited time. It will be replaced with another limited edition color.

I don't want to be to negative, but the sound quality of the build in speakers are really crap. This is not a device I would recommend to any who wants to get into vinyl. Not only for the lack of features and adjustments on this turntable but you don't want new listeners to vinyl get this disappointed. Reviews on Amazon .. well .. 4.5 out of 5 stars says a lot, those numbers are not real.

I think if you hook up a pair of powered speakers it would be fine side room or if you are on an extremem buget you can by or for your kids first turntable. the direct feed was substantially better than the built in speakers, so it could work

Did not seem to be too many years ago when you could've gotten an Audio Technica AT-LP60 for less than $100! Also to add - those speakers sound like a cheap $10 transistor radio! Would not want that even for casual listening!

Meh. For the price of a dinner for two, there are record players better than this with a little extra money. You've reviewed some. As far as the Amazon reviews go, I would suspect that some are fake. When I am buying something from Amazon, I look at the negative reviews first. I have been burned a few times without checking. Anyways, have a good weekend, my friend.

Those ultra cheap plastic Exceart brand turntables are a far cry from the now classic BSR turntables with the black all metal plinth. When I was a kid I had a Soundesign AM FM Stereo Receiver Cassette deck with a BSR turntable mounted on top of the wood-grain veneer chassis. It sounded pretty good for what it was. 😊 These plastic Exceart turntables are way to cheap to even compete with a BSR turntable! Sadly, the Exceart units are standard on a lot of cheap audio systems these days.
