$400.00? Nope. Nada. Non merci. Nein. Have a good weekend, my friend.

Fully agree with you save your 400.00 and put it towards something else or just a good cheap vintage for a first table lol
@Boswd9 ай бұрын
agreed if the built in speakers were outstanding you might get away with it, but since you'll need to hook this up to better speakers it makes this a tough sell. Too bad I love the look of this thing.

Brilliant. You said I hope it looks as good as it sounds. I assume you got the words out the wrong way round. 😂😂😂

That looks so awesome! The only thing I hated about this (and a lot of players are having this now) is the narrating voice saying “vINyl mOdE”… I don’t need a robotic voice on my turntable.

"...no fault of the manufacturer..." If it had been me, I would've preferred it to be double-boxed.

I personally am always interested to know how these reviewed items sound from the line out. This has gold rca line out so I think the manufacturer is suggesting that this is good enough to be part of a system as well as being an all in one.

I love how externally it looks similar to a Tesla B-444 reel-to-reel magnetophone

Actually pretty good entry TT, but too high a price. Also the counter weight, although it has some movement, is just fixed - why - because there is no tracking weight mention or adjustment info on the manual.

I feel like the way to get it to sound the best is making the feet taller or something to allow that subwoofer to do her work

I was thinking this would be a great turn table for my brother in law who has expressed some interest in my setup and the 70's style. But $400? I was expecting ~$200.

if you could find a nice pair of speakers who's wood color matches this unit or at least compliments it, this would make for gorgous little set up. I love the look of this thing.

Looks good, you did say it could be a bit crisper in sound. When you played the first record, it kind of sounded tinny through the video. The contemporary record sounded better through the video. I just wish they still made speakered players like this with more than volume control.

What a fascinating unit! I love the look of it. The build quality appears to be pretty darn good! It does have a very "warm and heavy" sound, and was probably engineered to sound that way. Too bad there's no tone controls or an option to make the sound more "flat." Honestly, for the build quality and precision speed on both 45 and 33, I think it's worth the $400 price tag.
@thepastcomesalive20829 ай бұрын
Do they have one with the 3 speeds 33 RPM 45 REM and 78 RPM? So that way you can play standard LPs.

Very handsome unit. I grew up in the 70's, and do miss wood finishes. You had me until you mentioned the $400 price tag. I'' have to pass.

I love the look on this TT and the way they made it is a good step for someone who is trying to get their own TT ,now like the other TT's you have reviewed you should read the instructions to see if it shuts off after music stops you said the same thing on the 1by one TT with built in speakers you said it does not shut off but I got one and it does shut off it said so in the instructions you do a great deal of explaining things you have learned on turntables and you are excellent at it but before you do a review you should just read the instructions just to make sure when you looked at the tonearm and thought that knob was an antiskate I saw the speeds and what looked like to me a zero or a gap it looked like it would be a neutral switch and on a device like this you should play music that tests all the musical range that this TT can play like your vinylmoon records they have a good amount of bass and the price would be nice I looked on line it varies from 400.00 to 1000.00 don't know why it differs ,this company also made several years ago a TT called the seed turntable it was tall had a large speaker in front it had the same type of suspension close to 1000.00 I would trust them but it would be nice to get an exact price ion this one

Even through my phone I can hear it's lacking high end. Tone controls would have been nice. Nice try but not quite.

This seems a nice unit. It has a Line output so should work well with powered speakers if you wanted stereo. So, nice to have a self-contained unit that has reasonable quality, but then it is essentially mono, even if there are two speakers behind that grill. I am also a bit concerned about the bass speaker not having a protective grill, even if the cone is "Bullet proof"!! It would be so easy to accidentally put this unit down on top of something where the speaker is, especially if it was moved by someone who didn't know there was a speaker underneath. Over all, though, I love this unit, such a nice retro 70s design. Maybe it would do for someone with limited space, but wants a better quality player. Shame about the treble though.

@johnstone76979 ай бұрын
First, it didn't seem like moving that counterweight did anything for the tracking force. Is it possible that it's not really adjustable? Second, it's strange that it has both a suspended subchassis and the whole thing sits on very squishy feet. It's usually one or the other. Having both can cause issues with skipping on less than perfectly stable tables, floors, etc. Third...does it have any anti skating at all? When it went in on the label like that, it kind of indicated that there isn't any, or that it's under compensated. Anyway, I don't think $400 is all that out of line for a very nice looking all in one with good sound, correct speed, magnetic cartridge, etc. It appears that they put at least some effort into build quality and geting good performane out of it.
@Boggedy9 ай бұрын
Maybe it sounds better in person, but in the video it sounded tinny and decidedly lo-fi. And to be honest, I'm not even a fan of it's aesthetic. And for $400? That seems about 300 too high, imo.
@jaymanuel33969 ай бұрын
I’m always weary of other commentators reviews of these. They make it seem as if these models will destroy your record collection.
@bobby6666669 ай бұрын
I doubt that much damage would occur. I had a cheap Turntable when I was 17, and it didn't cause damage. People can buy substantially better than this for not much more.

decent-ish low end but the rest sounds entry-level. The price is quite frankly, ridiculous.
@shellac46829 ай бұрын
Sadly the sound of this unit does not justify the price. It sounds muddy and that it has restricted higher end frequency response. I'd also be concerned that the suspension is too bouncy and could induce distortion.

The Spwaker on the Groundplate, that´s the Subwoofer! and a huge one too! rofl... I estimate whopping 2x2Watt Stereo @ 4Ohm. rwatet to the 15V 2A Power-Supply...lol...More would be critical due to Vibrations that gpe through the CHassis. Amd the Icing on the cake is the damned Felt-Mat"! All in All a Turntable where they haven´t forgotten anything! All Reasons to say NO to this Product are here!Right before our eyes!
