I have come from a break from a catastrophic loss that has really impacted my psychological well being...I was trading with too much size,overconfident,and had market conditions that i did not expect...funny enough i had gotten warnings that market conditions were changing but i was too optimistic...

I have a 30k loss which is 83% of my account. My mistakes were getting at the wrong time, averaging down, and no risk management, and risking big by big position size. My recovery plan is; Taking a deep breath, brush it off, starting with a small position, and only focusing on staying green no matter what. I have to be clear about my entry point 100%. I am going to apply this rule until I recover 50% of the total loss.

I lost a third of my account in 10 minutes! Although my RSI indicator and resistance lines matched up perfectly, the size of my position was WAYYY too big ( as I said I risked about a third of my account on one trade) and I was focused too much on a strong trend of the past and failed to notice the formation of a newer uptrend.

Thanks, I needed to hear this today. I lost 20% of my portfolio last Thursday and Friday. Was planning to get back into it with rage anf fury on Monday, but will now take a break until next week Thursday to reassess and analyze. If my potentials take a dip to support levels in the meantime, then yes I may go back in, but watching your video, I have now accepted my losses. Take care

I learned from my losses 1- never trade without making portfolio, dealing in single stock is suicide 2-Never invest in one share more than 10% of you portfolio 3- STOP loss is your only friend, if condition/volatility do not warrant stop loss stop get out. 4-Don’t short without two confirmation one from candles another from oscillator ... .... Have to be lucky to recover from more than 30% of portfolio.you need to be pro for recovery. Trad safe and wise.

fucking lost 75% of my account because i forgot to close my position on friday night and market opened way lower on monday while i was on x20 leverage.. so bad for my mental health and just gonna take a break for a bit

Use it as a catalyst to improve your trading skills, because the reason you lost is you didnt have top notch skills OBVIOUSLY. And also always worst case the outcome and if not ok with the worst case scenario then trade with smaller amounts so you can deal with the potential worst case scenario. If you cant deal with the worst case scenario before placing a trade then DO NOT DO IT. Also better to grow portofolio slowly and surely, instead of blowing your account up thinking your Big Time Mr. Vegas...remember gambling is not investing, so be an investor not a gambler.

You are good in getting burned trading soldiers back in the pot brooooo. Lol.....I have lost a lot of money trading with FXCM South Africa. It seems the platform is rigged....programmed to benefit the broker at the end. I saw odd changes in platform in front of my eyes....😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵.....Trading small all the times does NOT help anybody....that means you will profit $ 5 in ten year?????
