What an amazing story. The fact that someone can go through something like that and come out of it with that big, beautiful smile and drive is incredible. I hope she's doing well today. Such an inspiration. ❤️

I've been injured nearly 3 years now and it never gets easier. I was told I'd never walk again but beat the odds and walked on crutches after 6 months. I still have to use crutches and likely always will but i am grateful for my life and what SCI has taught me.

Great video! Well done Anna. I have a T12/L1 sci so I know part of the journey. You have taken the approach that I take, in that I won’t let my injuries get in the way! Great to see 😀👊🇦🇺

how are you now Brad? i had the same t12/l1 fixation 2 weeks ago .. i am not sure if i can go back to normal that is why i keep on looking for people who have the same issues and recover

@@jehntorres6339 don’t give up, just do all of the shitty exercises they tell you to! I was told that I likely wouldn’t walk and definitely wouldn’t rock climb again..but I did both and even climbed harder than before. It’s ten years next year for me and my goal is to get back to wakeboarding and to jump the wake. I can’t feel my right foot and not all my muscles work properly, but I’ve done way more than I thought that I could. So just grit your teeth, try to be patient and do it 😀

These docos always focus on really positive outcomes, but it's not everyone's journey. Please reach out for help, I don't know how I would cope 😢 with losing an arm either. But I do know that losing an arm is a major life altering experience and to struggle with it is completely normal and it is not something that you can do alone. Get help, keep searching for the best help for you sometimes that's an arduous process. Find your tribe ❤❤❤❤❤ Sending you best wishes from Australia ❤❤❤
