Great video 👍 soak the engine in “mystery fluid” and see if it unlocks , and you get it running . It would be good video to watch 😀 . If the engine is going to be scraped would be good to see it taken apart to see what’s wrecked inside . Your videos are always new and interesting . Thank you

I suspect you would also like to see this machine brought back to life for reasons other than profit. Old machinery, motorcycles, cars, pickups coming back to life has a special satisfaction not everyone understands. This looks like a multi-part project that would be great to watch. If you eventually make a happy dollar, all the better! 🚜

Trailer looks BRAND NEW ! Agree with "innertubemac" about mystery fluid. Personally just used two quarts Marvel Mystery Oil soaking motorcycle fuel tank on 1981 Honda 750K . It's been sitting unused for past eleven years. Fuel that I pumped out of the tank was green !!!! Talk about OLD & PUTRID. Marvel Mystery Oil = GREAT STUFF. JimInCincy

Thank you for trying to save her. Meany a old times with the 450-C JD. By my home growing up, the sewer main line guys always had a 450 JD with the backhoe on back. NO hoepack's They would use them on backfill. They had the Backhoe on rear, just not use it. Lots of jobs around my home they used crawler Loader's for backfill. And running Pea gravel. I did lots of mainline sewers through easement. No road built yet. So to muddy for wheel loader use. The Front Loader that was the Fastest for running those long runs for Pea gravel was the old CASE 850-B we had. That Loader with the power track ( high forward on one lever low back on other lever) the job supervisor liked the speed of Case track loaders. We had International's 125s no CATS, the company RENTED lots of machine from CASE.

My homeboy Larry has had a 450C for years. Without any warning one of the connecting rods tried to escape through the engine block. He bought another one for the engine and ended up fixing up the second one instead. They’re very versatile and easy to transport. If you get this one running and put serviceable undercarriage on it you should have no trouble selling it - especially with the 4 in 1 bucket. Keep us posted. 👍

I agree with another post that maybe you should try some Marvel Mystery Oil and put into each cylinder and let sit for a couple of days. I helped a friend a few years ago load the exact model of loader and its engine was locked up tighter than a kid who ate a jar of peanut butter. It took a few hits with the starter and the engine eventually broke loose and started. It has been running ever since. There is something definitely good about mystery oil since I have seen people do some wacky things over the years with it to get engines running again. It’s worth a try and may save a lot of time, labor and expense of parts.

Them trucks sound cool 😎 Stages in life of a operator, young and cautious ,bit older and knows and overconfident, bit older and is experienced and calm and collected, much older had done everything, and very critical ,and still wants to be in control, but has no boundaries now and it's full on at all cost ,because they older and know best , and can't slow down for fear of losing the touch !that's just a observation of actions 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 Imagine the rebuttal if the camera got smoked 😜

Excellent video Clint!! Two thoughts, I like the idea of getting the engine running and maybe some other minor repairs before selling "as is". Seems like it would be a good project machine for someone who has the skills and time to put the finishing touches on it. My second thought would be to have a local school take it on as a repair/restore project. Could help some choose a career in mechanics or other related field. Please keep the videos coming!!
