Thomas Bangalter explain to me than he asked Benjamin Diamond to sing like Elvis Preysley in just one prise the vocal was finish, Benjamin who think that was a joke, and he said , ok now we can make the final vocal and thomas answered no, the vocal is ok, Banjamin was so surprised whan thomas put the Asr10 ensoniq DLL Phaser effect on it , and for the final glue compressor , he used the alesis 3630 compressor and the real 909 kick because only the tr909 had frequencies to emulate the daft punk compressed kick, no software could emulate the daft punk compression, only hardware effect, listen dj medhi signature bangalter remix to hear the kick result better. i saw Stardust in live in France , it was fantastic with bangalter and ALan braxe with the synthesizers live and sampler programmed by Bangalter, better than the Daft punk concert, it was magic and totally funky french house, at that time, our mobile telephone can't record sounds , it was in 1998, and nobody record it , in the crowd and the dancefloor i was with Guy Manuel de homen christo busy p their manager and only 100 people with invitation private concert for the Virgin Labels Team and my team from Superfunk Lucky Star !!!!

I will watch the full video later, so i am not sure that you mentioned it somewhere in the video. At around 2:00 something came up and i had to leave.. But Thomas Bangalter is one of the 2 dudes in Daft Punk i hope you mentioned it in the video. As a DJ myself i remember we all talked about how "Stardust" is just a cover name, we ( exaggerated ) and said to each other that this was the new track from Daft Punk.

I am using similar techniques in my sample based productions. I just do the pumping/glueing in the mix and do modern mastering for more modern sound and also do more layering of various instruments from the original track with the virtual instruments. Nice, reminds me of that time I got a license for Voyager, I was making a cover, but they wanted it to be a remix, so I did that. Still no one would distribute it because of the liability and I was too small of an artist to get it released on a big label. Super fun project, however I miss my Stardust record.

Will, Will, Will, what should I say? Stardust was never my cup of coffee. But hey, I have my own meltdown. When I began DJing, one Maxi Single always was my companion: "The Atmosfear" in the version by Cozm*Oz*One. When I saw you doing this, my everlasting wish to make a new version of this classic from 1990 was present again. So I've used a splitter to extract the famous vocals by Beverlee and the famous drum beat. Well, it's not the best splitter software, but what a hell of fun was it working with these old sounds. Still, Stardust is not my music. But I was vibing at the end of the video. Let's see if I will get out of bed on time because I have a full workday before me. Thank you for this video.
