@Mikê'e Stark I haven't played an assassin's Creed game since 3 so I wouldn't know if it's in this game or not if they didn't show a clip of it in the beginning, I doubt every single person that listens to video game music has played every single video game that the songs are about, also I doubt more than 10% of KZbin viewers read the descriptions of the videos they watch, and thats pretty generous, KZbinr subreddits are full of tutorial KZbinrs whining about how a small percentage of the people who view their tutorials even read the first line of their description.

@Mikê'e Stark Karen's don't explain themselves last I checked? And some folk who enjoy music and don't play these games watch these videos, so chill bro. Long explanations don't necessarily equal rants lmao

Remember Scandinavians have been doing Rap for over a thousand years. How can people who took the least appreciated qualities of European culture not use it to its utmost potential. It also means, Black People need to either accept that their culture is European or they need to get back to their "roots" in Africa and practice some Ubuntu philosophy or something else that actually is African. Stop stealing from others like Egypt and appreciate what dark people in Africa actually had like in Nigeria, the West Coast, and East Africa. Or... appreciate other people for their culture and realize it as such. I appreciate Japanese culture and Chinese culture before the Communists, but I don't recognize it as my culture, but rather as a part of human culture as so should you. That is how Egypt should be valued and so should everything else. It is all a part of the human experience, but it is not my culture. I don't come from it. I came from Normans, Brits (which includes Irish), Italians, Iberians, Slavs, Southwest Nigerians, Western Indians and Pakistanis, and Cherokee. There is probably some Greek, Arab, Berber and Iranian admixture in my DNA. But there is overall a whole lot of Slavs in my ancestry. I'm half Central-Eastern European, which is mostly Polish and Russian. The most unique part of my ancestry is that I can claim to be indigenous to the United States as the descendant of a Patriot against the British in our war for Independence and Cherokee Native Americans, Eastern Band mind you. We lived in North Carolina, not Tenn. nor Georgia. Do I have Egyptian in me? Probably. Egyptian merchants had migrated out of Egypt into Rome and intermix with the locals. There were probably more Egyptians outside of Egypt by the time of Hadrian than there were in Egypt. And some of that Roman-Egyptian-Greek mix blood probably entered either Barcelona or Sardinia and intermix with those locals and that in turn came into me through my ancestry. Does that mean, I have a right to Egyptian Culture? No. My culture is American. Even though I came from so much diversity, I cannot identify with any of it. I wasn't raise to speak French, Polish or Cherokee or anything but English. I know a little Spanish, but that Castiliano, not Catalan. So I don't identify with my ancestry except the British that spoke English and even with them less so since my country achieved independence. Nevertheless, since I have ancestral ties to people who fought in the Revolutionary War and I was raised here and I speak English, I can identify with being an American. Now that doesn't mean other Americans will see it that way, Borderline are Borderline. It cannot be helped that 16% of Americans are fucking disgusting pieces of shit. But I know what I am and I am content with that. I hope the same will be true for the rest of you.

Yawwwwwnnn .. hahaha. I get it. Y'all want credit for everything. This forum of art was developed by African Americans. During slave trades those fighting for freedom in the Gullah Wars. Tucson will Overture who overtook the French army. African slaves that fought and killed white men on boats for them to start a new life on Islands in Jamaica. You say we've taken from your history when we actually took from our history in America. We have formulated this art form in the making since the '60s of the Harlem Renaissance of famous writers like Langston Hughes , Countee Cullen , Zora Neale Hurston n W.E.B Dubois. Brothers on the street corner wrapping and singing around a fire bin late at night. Aspirations by poetic group called The Last Poets in the 60's. The Godfather of Soul James Brown has also mentioned in many times his rap is strong. Which rap was a slang for communicating. During the times of struggle because of disenfranchisement and public schools with little to no resources. Crime had a rose in our communities some chose violence others chose art and music. Therefore you have the birth of Hip Hop in the 70's. The rest is our story. Also to add Jamaicans that chat is a form of Hip Hop too that has been formulated in our art with the rhythmatic Beats from Africa Arts from the Aztek and Mayans. This art was formulated by Latinos and blacks that are African descendants. I know you want your inclusion but you was nowhere to be found in our Hood. Flyting was y'all way of communicating. Not ours we didn't steal s*** we formulated it from the ground up. We was talking about the struggle y'all was talking about which boats y'all can steal and what land y'all can take. We was talking about fighting the power and killing racism by any means necessary. While having the dream to be seen as civil in this land we was brought to. I'm glad you're enriched in your culture so are we. Let's keep it that way kill all the white supremacy talk. This is our forum of art not yours ... end of story.

I’ve been listening to Dan Bull for around 10 years and he was one of the main Rappers that actually had me take my skill more seriously, but this would have been a very difficult position to have been in if I were to be the one picking a winner. I’m not being bias when I say that Dan etched out just far enough to win, but a draw is just as fitting.

I imagine Ubisoft wouldn't leave something like this up to chance so it was like all (or mostly) pre-written, but I don't think that takes anything away. The insane depths of some of those bars, both you and lethal were insane. Along with the fact that most of those bars had multi-syllable rhymes and even a few internal rhymes.

Hate to crush it Lethal Bizzle had lost. The theme was Assassin's Creed Valhalla and he was literally trying to stitch his knowledge blanks with game industry jargons. This was a fail not cause he wasn't rapping good enough, he really did a good job, but fail in knowing the theme played the crucial role. I hope he does a world history check next time, before going on. (it would be embarrassing if he was mistaking gaming facts as real-world facts, it's kinda sad in a way) Cheers, and hope the next time it will be less... confusing from his side.

This was enjoyable. I liked it a lot. The guests, the format, the setting, the theme, the atmosphere... It was all very good. Perhaps next time you can have a pile of cards with random 'themes' and then every few lines, a new reference point for your rhymes. Could be like a pile of random movies? Or alternatively, similar to this, but spanning human history. A few lines about Ancient Greece, then move to Roman references... Up to until today. Like your Civilizations rap, but in a battle format. I'm chatting shit. It's a good idea in my head but suck at putting it into text. Haha. Good work guys! And Dan, the facial hair suits you 👍

We used to try this in school when I was young. The older farmers would have a rhyme-battle night every now and then. The rules there were rhyming in 4 stanzas. One spits out the first half, deciding the rhyme scheme. The other finishes the stansa and then fires back with a new first half and a rhyme scheme. This continues until 1 can't finish a stanza at which point they would be defeated, or "kveðinn í kút." There are other variations of course, such as simply starting with the letter the other finished with etc.

Well from what I could remember of the top of my head, Vikings were actually rather diplomatic, at least between themselves. They had court hearings and never used violence against each other for crimes dealt. Instead of a lawyer they had an avenger, which is way cooler. Thanks Horrible Histories.
