It's the saturation and the overall colour warmth. It is the same reason why people think iPhone photographs are the best. Even though that is not technically correct. If you watch carefully you will see that the focus on Alex's camera was better and the clarity was better. Alex needs to adjust his colour spectrum either in the setting or in post. Saturation is the biggest cheat code in photography/videography.

As someone born with cerebral palsy I was as kid forced to excercise and excersize till i could sand on my legs .In my 50 years I was subject of intense bullying but overcame it by constant excercise first learning to walk properly then watching gymnasts and excercising so my muscles could not be weak or God forbid atrophied.Now my movements are pretty normal and I am university professor with two teenage daughters. Other of my passion is history Watching your channel , your persistence and passion is a pleasure for me. Part of not being able to get into gymnastics - as a lay person, we don't know how difficult it is the things you do. For example - you might see a triple twist as a triple twist, but it's so fast to me it's just a twist! Maybe the points are actually in sticking the landing - but who knows about that? :) Obviously at the elite level you're all very good, but you make it look so easy that it's hard to grasp the difficulty level. :) x

The commentators don't explain any of it either, its like watching basketball without knowing any of the rules, then someone makes a basket and gets a free throw and your like, wtf just happened!? Its not hard to teach people about the scoring values in gymnastics, but for some reason they only talk about stuck landings, so when someone sticks all their landings and doesn't win it makes you feel like "what am I even watching.' Sad.
