I saw a video here on KZbin made by travel guru Rick Steves some years ago... he rented a bike in Murren and rode down to the valley floor and stopped to see the falling water at Trümmelbachfälle. I spent some time in advance trying to duplicate his ride. I couldn't--I think the lift he took is no longer in operation. But I did find a way to make a similar but different circuit: We rented bikes in Lauterbrunnen, rode the valley floor south (could have stopped at Trümmelbachfälle, but didn't have the time), took the Stechelberg LSMS lift to Murren, rode through Murren and worked our way up a trail and then down a long trail for something like an hour and a half--all downhill. Ended up back in Lauterbrunnen. Highly recommend this ride--even in the rain.
