For my technology clients I have never been able to use the job boards to collect a fee. I need to recruit people directly out of their competitors or a former colleague of theirs from a past company. Job Boards or good for either internal recruiters or for lower level positions.

i’m a hiring manager, is Zip still a good tool or is there another one that I should look at? The second part of this question is what is an easy get effective application, tracking software or do you just use the one that’s built into Zip Recruiter?

Zip recruiter profile takes more time to setup versus other options. After uploading the resume, you then have to manually re-type literally everything on the resume into the Profile section. I'm going to max out the other job sites first and possibly come back to this later. A hiring manager should use indeed first.

Are you serious? Do you realize how difficult it is to sign up to ZipRecruiter as an employer? I must be missing something. Because every time I either logon to the website using a PC, or the app on my phone, the service defaults to seeker, not employer. I can’t even do a basic search for candidates. Why don’t you do a step by step video showing us exactly how to sign up as an employer, and do a basic search

You know, you're really funny! Because the last time I tried using ziprecruiter, I put in for over 50 jobs pertaining to truck driver positions and never got a single reply from any of your clients. Finally the only one to answer me was yet another company that put me back in the position of Einstein's Definition of Insanity. If it's any indication as to the reliability of that company, they went belly-up last year. So how do you explain a driver who had at the time at least 14 years of experience in all of the Lower 48 and two Canadian Provinces? Because if everybody's still that picky, it's no wonder nobody wants to go back to work.

So what we're really getting at is that recruiters are so pathetically lazy that they want to depend on an AI to make the determination if a person is qualified for the job without ever speaking to anyone because their interviewing, inter-personal, and gut-feeling skills are sub-par.
