What a great region to explore at the casual pace of a trike! Thanks to you and Honza I now know I’ve been over extending my legs. I like sitting more upright too. I can see more and, at 79, I’m never in a hurry. The journey to La Spezia was wonderful and I’m happy that you, like me, don’t let language be a barrier. I find great people wherever I roam and think it’s kind of about My attitude. I could handle those little towns and cafés just fine. I guess I’d better just do it, eh? Thanks, Matt!

Absolutely gorgeous countryside and I'm glad the weather held up for you. The drone videos were excellent. I enjoyed the conversations you had with the hikers/walkers... I am envious. Can't wait until you arrive in Pisa and get a pic of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Stay Safe and... Keep on Triking!

Hey J, this is the couple you met that day walking - it was great to meet you, we had such a nice chat with you. We made it to Rome in 41 days. It was nearly 1100km in the end ! We enjoyed everyone of them (nearly 😂). We are now relaxing in Sardinia . Did you make it to Sardinia ?? Safe travels

Gotta have the beer, you're my kind of people. I don't have a try yet, but I'm saving. My money would like one just like yours.

That shot with the mirror reflection of the bike and Panini sign etc. is an absolute classic....the kind that wins a contest or Nat Geo. I love it. La Spezia is the gateway to Cinque Terre but I guess for obvious reasons not in the plan. Fun day.

21:00 Poor lizard. Too bad you cannot freely fly ypur drone in La Spezia. Anyways cool port town. It looks similar to my hometown.

loved the video, Matt do you need to grease your chain? Your trike is making a lot of noise and you were not making that much noise before. It sounds like it is grinding on something. Have a great day. Loved the drone shots.
@JaYoeNation Жыл бұрын
It’s the chain running thru the tube. There was another screech noise in this video on the pier that was not my trike.

It’s a magic mini 3 pro. Love it

you're inspiring me to get a trike! i don't know if you've noticed this, but when you hear someone with and accent when they speak english, you start to talk "simpler" by dropping articles and particles all over the place. i think it makes you harder to understand honestly hahaha. i know this because my mom does the same thing

I'm curious to hear how you did your route planning. How do you prioritise segregated bike paths from open road (where that is possible). As in: is there an app for that?

How do you always recover your drone? I would be so afraid to fly it at unknown places. And how much quicker is it to launch the Mini 3 with the smart controller. That's what I like most. Can you install Maven or Litchi on that thing in the future? For now Maven or Litchi or not compatible yet with the Mini 3 Pro. It will add GPS follow-me. Trust me. GPS follow-me is way more practical than optical active-track. Although I'm not sure you will have obstacle avoidance in follow-me mode?
@JaYoeNation Жыл бұрын
I never use any of the active tracking. I always fly full manual
@driewiel Жыл бұрын
@@JaYoeNation But you do use update-homepoint as a return-to-controller? Almost all cheap drones don't have that. When it suddenly decides to fly back to where it took off you have to race back up the mountain in panic before a trucks runs it over. You would see only 300 meters of entire Corsica the hole trip.
@JaYoeNation Жыл бұрын
@@driewiel I never use or worry about return to controller. I guess I should. I always have pretty good situational awareness when I’m flying and pretty much always know where it is. Except for one shot on lake Garda when I lost track of it for a little while. Lol
