Josie, I am having a BLAST! #movingisfun LOL And I did not forget about our strip quilt! I'm gathering the supplies while moving and will show that really soon... I could use a day of creating! ox

Such wonderful granny squares! My grandmother made me a pale yellow crocheted vest in about 1967 that was one big granny square - or maybe it was a mesh stitch - one of many things from childhood I wish I'd kept. My own crocheting is on hold until my golfer's elbow (due to excessive knitting!) has healed. Moving on to gray hair - I'm five months into a long transition from dyed hair to my natural salt-and-pepper mix. My hair is shoulder length and it's probably going to be two years or more to get all the way gray. Definitely worth it so I don't feel like a hostage to hair color! I'm down in Chester County and getting ready for a snow day tomorrow. Stay safe and warm and enjoy the peace :)

Hi Susan! my hair was shoulder length and cut it short and went from dyed hair to gray in 4 months! I started this in October. My hair grows fast so I figured, you don't know if you don't try, it will grow back! thanks for watching. Yes, it's snowing and so beautiful today!

Friday’s weather was just unbelievable! I went downtown and in a matter of an hour visiting with a friend, the nor’easter was full force. I hope we don’t get what’s predicted for tomorrow (I’ve got 2nd cataract surgery scheduled in the a.m. & I want to get it over with!). Looking forward to your “Live” event-be sure to give some heads up so I don’t miss it. Viewing your video looked so different with the stuff normally behind you missing. Glad you’re enjoying your new craft space. To change the subject (to eyes), wondering how your dry eye situation is doing? Reason I mention it is that since I’m going thru cataract surgery (one done, one to go), doc recommends only one brand/type of drops-“Refresh Optive Mega-3” preservative free enhanced with flaxseed oil. The oil part made me think of your own oil mixture you’re using. Just thought I’d mention it. BTW your granny squares are such lovely colors. Can’t wait to see what you do with them.

Kathryn, I'll have to look for those drops! I am seeing an improvement most of the time. Sometimes something will set it off, like being in a really hot room or a fan blowing at me. I use Refresh too, (but I'll look for the one with flax oil in it).... in between the castor oil applications, because the oil leaves a greasy smooch around your eyes and you don't want that when you're out. I hope you can get to your appt tomorrow! I will give good notice for my LIVE! I should have asked you guys what is a good time for everyone. I'll have to wing it! Got so much done yesterday and today. Tomorrow with the snow coming, I'll be home and do more packing. See you soon! ox
