What top coat was used to keep the crystalline silica dust from getting airborne?

They might not be from Wyoming. You could live in a bubble. Wear a dust mask all the time. Stay away from any dust storm.

Did you use your skid to level the front yard? How long did that take you?

Do you need a permit?
@shamrockdirtwork79452 жыл бұрын
I don't know if you need a permit in your area. I recommend talking with the local city government. I didn't need a permit for this job.

Can you give a ballpark idea of how much the crushed concrete costed you for this job? We got a driveway slightly smaller then this. Thanks

The customer purchased the product on their own. I don't know how much they paid.

Is this the same as "wash out" concrete?
@shamrockdirtwork79452 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure. I haven't heard the term "wash out" used for describing this material. We call it crushed concrete and recycled concrete where I live. Hope this helps.
@davedunn2124 Жыл бұрын
No. Washout is what they rinse out of the back of the concrete trucks once they get back to the yard. Normally it runs into a settling basin where they eventually pile it up. It's way more powdery with some big chunks. It doesnt resemble gravel

I was once told a tale from many years ago how a bridge made of recycled concrete aggregate failed and collapsed

For a base under asphalt it may be OK but it’s absolute crap for a road topping. It never packs down, ever. I would avoid this garbage like the plague. Just stick with blue shale
