hysterical! I feel the same way: at this stage of my life, I don't want to be buying things....Goodness knows, I have plenty of materials, scraps,, and threads....I may start saving ends...the weaving has a very nice texture due to the knots and threads ends "waving in the wind"

I have jars of little thread nests😂I have woven with all my ends of yarns and it has made a very textural weave but now I shall try with my threads❤

I take my thread and small bits of fabric and make buttons . Then add a bead or a button in the middle.

The beading loom does come in handy! Im seeing freeform applique patches or pocket borders.

I have one of these. Unfortunately, some of the threads are so old they are breaking down. I also have a "drape' of threads where the newer, fresher leftovers are draped on the lamp next to my work space.
