The huge spray irrigation machines are a terrible waste of water. They should use only the drip irrigation method, it saves millions of gallons of water and the water goes directly to the roots of the plant.

For anyone interested to catch a glimpse of how was "Palestine" like (it wasn't a state, just a geographic region which included the territory of Jordan, Lebanon and Syria besides modern Israel, by the way), before the Jews got to make the desert bloom - Well, the old "Palestine" hasn't disappeared, its still there. So simply fire up google earth and see for yourself the Gaza strip and Judea and Samaria (the "west bank").. compare it to the villages in Israel near it. Let me put it this way: You don't really need the border marking on google earth, to see the border.

Everything cute and loving but people it’s been at least 50 years and the soil is still naked, the agricultural system that they have applied is doing nothing for the area, you have worked as an inter generation entity so a few understanding of permaculture and the knowledge of the area and climate that you already have, can change the face of the land in 30 years. Wow! Massive water wastage. All those sprinkler systems & in a desert environment. Also not a scrap of mulch in sight along those drip lines which would both preserve moisture & increase soil fertility over time. Extremely poor agricultural techniques being employed here. A permaculture design approach is desperately needed to both protect the soil from erosion and build fertility. While I applaud the recycling of water storing it in the open in such a hot climate means more wastage still through evaporation.
