INGREDIENTS for the Recipe
2 kgs all purpose flour
2 sachets instant yeast
5 heaped tablesp sugar
4 teaspoon salt
6 teaspoon double action baking powder
2 cups water + 21/2 cups water
1/2 cup cooking oil
1 kg red bean paste
Sesame seeds
Oil for frying
Water to brush dough before adding sesame seeds

Thanks for the recipe! Tried it out today, it worked! May I know how should i keep the extra dough? Do i keep in the fridge or freezer?

Maybe if you need to use within the next two days you can keep in the fridge but if you want to use it in a week or two I suggest you keep in the freezer. I never have leftover dough before so what I am telling you is only my point of view.

I have tried keeping the dough in fridge and use it the next morning but not successful, the dough over proof and the end results is the bread is too hard.

Can make into individual ham chin piang, then put on plate into freezer. After freezed n turned hard you can then put together into ziplock bags. When needed, take out to defrost at room temperature before deep fried.

Can i use regular baking powder instead of double acting baking powder ?

DABP is a complete leavening agent because it will react and create gas bubbles twice, once added to liquid and again when exposed to heat. So definitely fluffier.If you use baking powder that means it only rise one time only.
